Tobias POV

"Sir-" Dr. Fernando starts

"Mr.Eaton" I say

"Right. Mr. Eaton, the patient is up" he says awkwardly. Why is he being so awkward?

"Is she alright" I ask

"the infection has been... Its... Okay let see how can I put this... Currently the infection has pasted her heart once again and is in an area we can't do anything but hope to flush it out with medication. She is awake and out of her coma now but she doesn't remember much currently. Don't worry her memory isn't lost forever it should be back in... A week tops tomorrow at the most. And make sure you dont startle her. She isnt okay around loud sounds and she seems to not like being around more then 2 people at a time. Tori will not be assisting you anymore instead we have another nurse that will be coming in. She may be my sister but I had nothing to do with her being removed from the business. That was all my boss, David. Now promise me you won't force her memory and when she need something, like help doing something, do not, and I mean it, do NOT help her. Your new nurse cna do most of it but some things I need to do. And I'm sorry to say that yes a boy doctor has to be incharge of her" he says even more awkwardly

"Can I ask where the infection is?" I ask

"Somewhere sensitive and a not so good spot for it to be. If the infection is out in under 3 days complelty she should be fine. But if not she may never be able to do it again. Sorry Mr.Eaton." he says smiling.

Wait where's the infection?

Wait...

Its in her... That's gross... And bad.. And terrible. And.. Wait she might not be able to do that?

Ohhh okay now I get it.

I give him an awkward smile. He said again. We haven't done it yet. Shouldn't he be able to realize this?

"Would you and someone like to come see her?" He asks me

"Please" I say

"Sure. Who would you like to come see her?" He says

"How bout someone who hasn't see her yet. Uriah."

"Okay." The Dr says as he pauses. He looks around my and says "Uriah would you and Mr.Eaton like to see Ms.Prior?"

"Yes!" Uriah yells. Then he covers his mouth and mouths 'sorry'

I smile and the Dr just nods. He starts walking to Tris' room and Uriah and I follow, hot on his heels.

The doctor opens the door and let's us in. He closes it behind us and leaves us in the room with Tris. I look at Uriah and he nods. We take a deep breath and walk over to Tris' bed. When she sees us she looks confused. After a few seconds of her staring she makes a small smile and slightly nods letting us know she remembers us. A smile creeps across my face and a tear leaves my eyes.

She's awake.

She has a bad infection in a strange, awkward, bad spot but she's alive.

And she's still mine.
