~*~*~*~Several Hours Later~*~*~*~

The demon let out a loud screech as Leon brought his foot down on its head with a loud squelching sound. Thick foul smelling liquid shot out from the demon's head, its body gave several small twitches before it finally went limp. Leon raised his foot up and kicked the body aside before he turned around walking toward the cave entrance stepping over the bodies of dozens of other demons that he'd found inside. They were disgusting things he thought finally stepping out of the cave getting hit with a chilling night time breeze as he looked out at the area before him. They'd traveled to Montana to clear out the Rocky Mountains area of demons that apparently attacked anything insight.

Leon found that hard to believe because they were blind, and on top of that they had virtually nothing that would pose much of a threat to a human let along another demon. They were Savage that much was clear but they were weak and he felt no joy in killing them. But that was just because he was always like this after seeing his father. He always knew just what buttons to push to get him worked up, not to mention he made Leon look pitifully weak in front of everyone just because he could. He felt something warm oozing around his fingers and when he looked down he saw that he'd been clenching his fists to the point of drawing blood, again. Not only that but now that he was looking at his hands he noticed that the skin along his knocked had been completely ripped apart.

"Dammit," He said looking at both of his hands and seeing that his knuckled on both hands were equally bloodied. He'd stormed off to find these demons that he didn't even put on his dragonscale gloves, but that alone wouldn't have done this to his hands. Turning halfway around he looked at the bodies of the demons he'd just killed and saw that he didn't just kill them, he slaughtered them. The walls were painted with their blueish blood and their skulls have all but been shattered by the blows he rained down on them. "Huh, guess I took a bit of my anger out on these guys."

With that Leon turned around and started walking down the mountain side that he'd taken thinking back on the other caves he'd been too. He hadn't taken the time to look over his handiwork until now and it wasn't until now that he noticed he wasn't as angry about what his father and what happened between them a few hours ago. Fifteen caves, he thought looking up into the night sky as he walked stuffing his hands into his pockets as he did. If each cave had as much demons as that one had than he must've killed close to 150 of them. Which again brought him back to his thoughts about why Vega wanted them gone, they were subterranean demons that only ever came out of their caves during the spring so they could prey on the waking animals like bears.

Something's not right he thought, walking noisily down the rocky mountain remembering that Vega had sent him to the Red Rocks without even telling him. Far as he knew there weren't any other big demons like Griffon around here, and these mole people couldn't be causing that much trouble along the travel route to Washington. "I'll have to ask when he got back to-" Behind him some pebbles moved and Leon froze dead in his tracks waiting to see if whatever was behind him would make another move. He heard something moving, it was running from the sound of it, that or there was more than one. Or it has more than two legs he told himself watching his peripheral for any signs of attack.

He saw it, something moving off to his right and he moved as fast as he could closing the distance between them in a fraction of a second. It let out a high pitched shriek as Leon forced it to the ground and held a glowing hand over his head ready to blow its head off until he saw just what it was. It was a kid. A girl he thought looking at her long flowing hair sprawled out on the earth below her, and two glowing blue eyes looking up at him in fear. He lowered his hand and was about to let her up when he felt something hard hit him in the middle of the back. He turned to look only to find two more kids, another girl and boy a little younger the girl on the ground. They were throwing rocks at him. He caught one and whipped it back hitting a boulder just to their side making a loud ricocheting noise. They got the message.
