I haven't done these in forever. It's mostly because I haven't been able to find any. However, I found some REAL CANON facts about the characters from a friend/writer of mine. Some are strange...

1. Germany has three German Shepard named Blackie, Berlitz, and Aster.
2. Italy is not as weak as he is portrayed.
3. Italy beat Turkey senselessly.
4. France is the nation that surrenders the most.
5. Japan had a dog name Pochi.
6. Cameroon has a pet lion named Kokolo.
7. The whale that America befriended in Japan is now living in his backyard swimming pool.
8. Hetalia Day is October 24th because it is also United Nations Day.
9. Sweden is more neutral than Switzerland.
10. Lithuania is actually more humorless than Germany.
11. China does Tai Chi every morning.
13. America's personality is based off of Himaruya's teacher in America while his appearance is based off a Canadian he met.
14. Romano and Italy are NOT twins. Romano, the elder, was born a good fifty years before Italy.
EXTRA FACTS ON THE ITALIAN BROS:
Romano's hair is darker and Italy's skin is lighter.
They also have different eye colors: Romano's is a hazel-green with hints of gold-brown while Italy's is solid brown. Their noses are different. Italy is taller but Romano is more muscular. Also, Romano's is part Arabic and Italy is part Germanic. They both are Italian So, if anything, they are technically half-brothers.
15. Canada and America have never been confirmed as twins.
16. Romania is a distant cousin of the Italian brothers because of Rome.
17. Every nation at one point thought that Spain was Roman's reincarnation. It is because, Spain looks exactly like a younger version of Grandpa Rome. He also eerily acts just like Roman.
18. Cuba was supposed to have a "youthful" look, more muscular, and very kind but strong-willed. (Hima shut that down!)
19. Austria has spent part of his childhood in a wheelchair.
20. England and France were supposed to be middle-aged sophisticated, polite gentlemen who interacted with each other in a very civilized way. (Yeah, no...)
21. Greece's eyes are olive green. Greece is known for their olives. It also has to do with Greek Mythology. (Hima, you sly little...)
22. Conquistador Spain fell in love with Belgium.
23. England loves McDonald's.
24. England and America both have twitter accounts.
25. England was the first person to follow America on twitter.
26. Germany is amazing at Track and Field.
27. Seychelles and Hong Kong both prank call England. He even goes along with the prank because he knows it's them. England actually enjoys it.
