{Several Weeks Later}
You were weak, bloodied, and defeated.
You try to get up, but all you could do was crawl forward. You see the figure in front of you, standing menacingly.
You raise your right hand to web him, but he steps on it hard. You grimace at the impact.
???: No use in trying now, Y/N.
You look up, and see it's the Goblin. He was wearing a different kind of armor. Behind him, is an unconscious Clementine.
You: Please....don't hurt her.
The Goblin looks back, and smirks under his mask. He then looks back at you.
Goblin: Remember, all of this....what happened to me....what's about to happen to Clem....what's about to happen to you....is all your fault.
The Goblin then begins to unmask himself, about to reveal who he is....

You wake up in a cold sweat, panting and trying to catch your breath. Your sudden awakening had startled Clementine, who is beside you.
Clementine: What's wrong?! What happened?
You look around, and realize it was just a dream. You are in Clementine's apartment, since you decided to stay over the night before.
You: Bad dream....sorry.
You've been having dreams like that for some time now, but you've never told anybody, not even Clementine. Deep inside, you've felt guilty for what happened to Norman Osborn, like if what happened to Louis's dad was your fault.
It's been a while since that fight with Norman, the Goblin, but you still think about it.
Clementine continues to caress your shoulder as you look at the alarm clock next to you. It was a little over 6:30 in the morning.
Since it's summer break, you like to kick off hero duties by 7 or 8 in the morning.
You: I gotta get going...
Clementine: Want me to make you something to eat before you go out there?
You: Not really a breakfast person in all honesty, plus...eating right before swinging is risky.
The both of you chuckle.
Clementine: Then I'll make food for myself, I gotta get to the station by 8.
Clementine still had her internship with Channel 4 New York, but it was a paid internship this time.
You get out of bed and proceed to take a shower. Once you were done, you dry off and put on your spider-suit. You leave the room, still holding your mask, and see Clementine making breakfast for herself.
Clementine: You sure you don't want anything to eat?
You: Once I eat your food, I don't stop, and I need to fit into this suit.
Clementine laughs.
Clementine: My food won't be the problem. I could already see your gut.
You: Haha.
You walk up to Clementine, and the two of you share a kiss.
Clementine: Come back to me, alright.
You: I always do.
You walk up to her open window, and put on your mask. You leap out, and begin swinging.

It's been a few hours since you began patrolling. Nearing noon, you felt it was time for a lunch break.
You swing towards Midtown East and head to Rhee's Pizzeria, where you frequently go to.
You saved the owner's family from an apartment fire two years ago back in Jackson Heights. They moved into the city later that year and opened a new location.
You land on the sidewalk away from any walking pedestrians, who obviously look in awe at the city's hero who stand near them.
You: Good morning, don't mind me.
You walk into the pizzeria, and immediately see the owner, Glenn, at the counter with a few employees behind him working.
Glenn: Spider-Man! It's great to see you again.
You: You know how much I love the pies here, Mr. Rhee.
Glenn: The usual?
You: The usual.
Glenn turns back, and tells the order to one of his employees. They start preparing the food.
You: How's the wife and kid?
Glenn: Maggie's doing great. Same with Hershel. In about a year or two we're gonna have to find preschools for him.
You: That's great to hear, it's never too early to enter the path of education.
Glenn: And you? Everything good in your...personal life?
Glenn didn't know your secret identity, but he did assume that you were a young college student since you had all the mannerisms of one.
You: Everything's fine so far.
As the two of you were speaking, you look up at the television and see a breaking news report: A bank robbery at the First Republic Bank a few blocks west. Glenn notices the report too.
You: Duty calls.
Glenn: We'll keep the pizza hot for when you get back.
You give a nod, and sprint out of the pizzeria.
THWIP!
You swing away.

You make it to the scene, and stop by the police blockade. You see Lieutenant Shane Walsh there.
Out of everybody in the New York City police force, Shane Walsh seemed to dislike you the most. You didn't know if he actually hated you or just was messing around.
Lieutenant Walsh: What the hell are you doing here, Spider-Man?
You: Good morning to you too, Lieutenant. I see you have a situation on you hands.
Lieutenant Walsh sighs.
Lieutenant Walsh: We got the call from the silent alarm inside, but nobody has gotten out and we haven't sent anybody in yet.
You: Are there hostages?
Lieutenant Walsh: Thermals show there is, and it seems that there's only one suspect.
A police officer nearby runs over to Lieutenant Walsh.
Officer: We lost sight of the suspect inside.
Lieutenant Walsh: What the hell do you mean?
Officer: His heat signature up and went. We don't know he is.
Suddenly, a loud crash was heard from the direction of the bank. You look up, and see a winged figure fly out of the window.
A/N: Redesign is by Green-Mamba on DeviantArt.
Officer: What the hell is that?!
The winged figure soars away from the scene. You don't hesitate, and swing away to pursue it.
