You were at Clementine's grave.
A tear dropped down your cheek as you placed a kiss on the tombstone. Louis walked up from behind.
Louis: Now do you understand?
You keep looking at her tombstone as you answer Louis.
You: Understand what?
Louis: Why I've always hated Spider-Man. Clem died because of her involvement with him....his association with you, his photographer.
You sadly nod your head.
You: Yeah....I understand. Excuse me.
You started walking away, and went over to a railing overlooking the river near the cemetery.
You start clenching your fist in anger, and rip a piece of the railing off with your strength. You then throw it at the river. You continue to take deep breaths.
???: Not very satisfying, is it?
You turn to your left, and see an older man. You've never seen him before.
???: She's dead. Nothing can bring her back. But wouldn't that anger you feel be better channeled into....revenge?
You wave him off, and begin walking away. He continues to speak.
???: Isn't that what you really want? To avenge Clem's death?
You turn around, and face him.
You: Who are you?
???: How does it feel? Everytime you picture her....dying....in your arms, and Kraven just running off?
You begin to grit your teeth.
You: If I had the chance....I will KILL him with my bare hands.
???: Good. He deserves it, doesn't he?
You: Yes.
???: What would you give to make the vengeance real?
You: Anything.
???: You're sure then? You want this?
You: I'm sure.
The man's voice begins to distort, but you don't notice.
???: Are you completely sure?
You scowl.
You: Yes. I want revenge.
We did it.
He is ready.

You: I want....revenge.
You are still in your Spider-Man suit, laying on the ground in a warehouse muttering those words. Arvo and Natasha are standing over you. They have succeeded in manipulating you.
You don't realize it, but the whole last two days have been all in your head. Arvo and Natasha have had control of you since you tried to apprehend them during their escape.
Everything from their arrest, to Shocker, to Clementine's death, was all in your head. All thanks to the twins and their mind control.
Arvo: I can feel it in his mind. He believes it all.
Natasha: He is strong, I'll give him that. But together, our power, we can do anything.
Arvo: Kraven will finally pay for what he did to our parents. Spider-Man will do our dirty deed.
They both turn to your body, as you begin to awaken.
Natasha: It is time to rise, and seek revenge.
You fully get up, and clench your fists. The twins eyes continue to glow as they look at you.
Arvo: Go to Kraven. We found out where he is hiding. Avenge Clementine's death.
You scowl, and run out through an open window.
THWIP!
You swing away.
Buricko comes in soon after.
Arvo: Where is she?
He leads them to a room, where Clementine is tied up at. They had kidnapped her in case you didn't complete the task.
Arvo chuckles.
Arvo: Spider-Man thinks she's dead....but if things go wrong. We can make it come true....

Kraven stood on the rooftop of a warehouse by the pier, overlooking the water. Two of his goons stood behind him with rifles.
Kraven: I'm meeting with some high level people. If anybody tries to crash the party....kill them.
The goons nod, and begin walking away. Kraven turns back and begins to walk away as well.
You shoot a web at one of the goons, and pull him upwards towards you. You knock him out and web him against the cell tower.
The other goon hears the commotion, and aims his rifle at you. You drop down onto him, knocking him out. You leap back up onto the tower.
Kraven turns around, brandishing his Bowie knife. He doesn't see you, but sees his goons down.
Kraven: Come out!
Kraven turns around for a moment, and you take the time to drop down and charge towards him. You shove him with your shoulder, launching him a few feet back. He recovers and faces you.
Kraven: My old friend, the amazing Spider-Man, come to drop me into the river once more?
You: I'm going to rip you to fucking pieces, Kraven!

You don't give him a chance to respond, you just charge at him, and punch him across the face.
Kraven unsheathes one of his machetes, and swings at you. You swiftly counter him by grabbing his arm, and kicking him in the abdomen. You grab his machete and throw it aside. Kraven leaps back, keeping some distance.
Kraven: It's been quite a while since we tangled, Spider-Man.
You: Yeah, like six hours ago.
Kraven seems confused.
Kraven: What the hell are you talking about?
You ignore his question, and run to him once more. You leap at him, but he dodges and tries to sweep your legs. You jump, and land a punch. You try to land another one, but he grabs your fist. He kicks you away, but you land on your feet.
Kraven: You're going to send me to jail like my brother?
You: No....I got other plans.
You shoot a web at his chest and pull him towards you. You then land a backflip kick at his jaw, and send him flying back.
He lands on his stomach, and you leap towards him to land another punch, but he flips away and lands on his feet once more. You get up, and face him.
Kraven wipes blood from his mouth.
Kraven: You've changed Spider-Man. More ruthless. No witty comebacks or jokes. Where's the college kid I once faced?
You don't answer, and shoot a web at his leg. Kraven takes out a knife and cuts the web, then throws it at you. You duck, and leap over Kraven.
You shoot webs out of both hands, making a noose around Kraven's neck. You stand on a metal beam sticking out of the cell tower, and look at him.
You: Goodbye, Kraven.
You drop down, pulling him upwards. Kraven is struggling to get out of the web noose, and losing breath. You keep holding the web as he slowly loses air.
You: This is for you, Clementine....

As you're holding the web, you look over across the river, and see a building. It's the same place you fought Shocker, but it wasn't a construction site anymore. It confuses you.
You: What....?
You then remember Kraven's words.
It's been quite a while since we tangled, Spider-Man.
Flashes of 'memories' begin to fill your head, such as the fight with Shocker, and Captain Grimes's injury. They didn't actually happen.
You let go of the web, letting Kraven fall and catch his breath.
You go over to him, and put a foot against his chest.
You: When's the last time you and I faced?
Kraven: Fuck you.
You press your foot into his chest.
Kraven: Argh! It was when you dropped me into the river....ages ago!
You shake your head.
You: What the hell....
