One month later
Eli's POV
"Your in charge of the cake mom", I firmly remind my mother.
"Don't worry hun its all handled", my mom smiles reassuring me.
This entire month has been a hassle due to getting everything ready for Gia's surprise baby shower.
I never thought planning a party was such hard work, but oh boy now I know and not sure if I would want to plan anymore parties.
Lulu, Maria, my mom, and Davina have been such a great help with getting everything together and decorating treats and so on.
"Remember Eli you have to distract Gia that day until I text you we're ready", Lulu briefly says.
Lulu and I came up with a plan for me to take Gia out to the movies or walk around the mall while Lulu and everyone gets everything ready. Once Lulu let's me know it's all settled then that's when I would bring Gia back to our brand new home where the baby shower is going to take place.
"Got it master", I chuckle saluting her.
"Don't be a smart ass", she chuckles shaking her head.
Out of all of Gia's friends I've always liked Lulu more. She's such a good friend to my girl and even became a good friend of mine too.
"So you sure Gia is going to love the princess theme?", I worriedly ask.
"Yes trust me I'm her best friend for a reason", Lulu smirks.
"True"
"Don't worry Eli everything is going to be perfect the way you want it for her", Lulu says laying her hand on my arm beaming at me.
Gia deserves everything good in this world. That girl has been through so much in her life and I didn't always help in making things better for her.
This baby, our baby that's on its way is our biggest blessing and boy did she make me step up. All I want and hope to be is the best man for my woman and the best father I can be for my little girl.
Since meeting Gia, she's completely changed my life and made me see everything from a different perspective and now she's giving me a family.
My own family
"My bad Lulu I'm just nervous", I huff.
"Eli nervous? No way", Lulu chuckles.
"Yes Lulu believe it or not I do get nervous"
"Don't be trust me.. your everything Gia ever hoped for and you making her a momma.. she's forever grateful for that", Lulu genuinely says smiling.
A smile forms on my lips hearing that making me confident once again for our big day coming up.
"You plan your little surprise Eli and let me handle the rest.. I got you guys", Lulu winks leaving to organize the shower.
I can't wait to see Gia's face in 3 weeks. Everything that my Queen deserves is now coming together that day and our families and friends will witness all of this unfold.
Gia's POV
"My feet are so swollen I can't", I whine leaning on my chair.
"Want me to rub your feet?", Davina offers peering at me.
"No it's okay it would look weird doing that at work", I chuckle.
"At least today is your last day"
Today is my last day of work. I will be on maternity leave and once my baby girl is born I'll be on leave for 3 months.
"Thank goodness I'm always so exhausted", I yawn.
"Of course you are your preggers", Davina smiles rubbing my stomach.
I was about to respond until I felt my baby move causing me to stay still.
"My baby moved", I squeak.
Davina quickly places her hand on my belly feeling my baby move inside. "Oh my god".
My baby is so active, she's always moving, kicking me, and boy she even lays near my rips which I'm not a fan of.
I remember the first time my baby moved. Eli and I were playing 'poker' one night and suddenly I felt my baby move that caused me to throw Eli off of the bed.
Eli quickly worried at my sudden action thinking he hurt the baby or something. However I told him the baby moved and he placed his large hand on my belly instantly feeling the movement of the baby.
Eli's eyes widen a huge grin on his face as he experienced this beautiful movement. It's so indescribable the feeling you feel feeling your baby move inside of you.
It's so beautiful.
"Your so lucky", Davina sighs.
"What's wrong?", I furrow my brows noticing sadness in her eyes.
"Gabe and I been trying and it just doesn't seem to happen for us", she responds a tear sliding down her cheek.
Have I mentioned before being pregnant has made me become an emotional reck? Well since becoming pregnant I'm so sensitive like I can be watching a movie or a show where a dog hurts his paw and that's enough to make me cry.
I know it's crazy especially since it's not real it's acting, but I think my baby girl is going to be such an animal lover since she's making me tear up a lot whenever I watch animal related stuff.
"Davina don't get discouraged", I softly say feeling my eyes tear up for her.
"What did you do with Eli that got you pregnant?", she asks desperately.
If I told Davina the crazy stuff we do behind closed doors. She would think Eli and I are the next version of Mr. Grey and Anastasia of that 50 shades movie. If anything we're crazier just saying.
"Honestly we just had sex nothing out of the ordinary if you ask me.. we weren't at all even planning to have a baby. We just got lost in the lust of it all especially after four years of not being together. This pregnancy just happened surprising us both", I truthfully say.
"Maybe we just stress ourselves with that goal huh? Like we should just let it happen on its own?"
"Yes, trust me Davina it'll happen for you two. You guys really deserve it and Mark my words it'll happen when you least expect it take it from me", I smile.
"Thank you for being a great friend always Gia", she smiles.

Two weeks later
"Babe I look like a beach whale"
"No you don't babe"
"Liar nothing fits me again", I frown noticing a few clothes I've bought 2 months ago doesn't fit comfortably as they once used to.
"Babe your pregnant with baby Gold.. what do you expect?", Eli chuckles.
"I can't wait to get back into shape after having our baby", I huff laying on the couch next to Eli.
"Baby your the most gorgeous woman I've ever met do you know that?", Eli smirks rubbing my swollen feet.
"Yes I know that duh", I grin flattering myself.
"Conceited"
"I pulled you didn't I?", I wink rubbing my baby bump.
Eli says nothing only chuckling at my remark.
"I pulled you too after so many times I tried with your stubborn ass", Eli responds.
"What can I say I'm hard to get alright", I smirk at him.
"whatever happened to that Chris fool? The one you brought to the Halloween party", He steers the subject.
After the big all drama that Halloween night. I really haven't seen Chris since then only twice whenever I would hang out with the girls at the park sometimes.
He would see me but never bothered to talk to me anymore after Eli practically scared him off claiming me as his.
"He never talked to me again.. you scared him off", I blankly respond.
"Good", he snorts.
"So when can I see the nursery room it's been awhile now?", I steer the subject.
"Not yet", he bluntly responds.
"Babe!", I give him the puppy pout face.
"Don't do that", he averts his emerald green eyes.
"Pretty please", I practically beg.
"No No No", he firmly says.
"One of these days Mr. Gold I will see that room", I squint my eyes at him.
"Yeah yeah, right now your going to see Jr", Eli smirks biting his bottom lip.
"How can you still get turned on? I am hella pregnant"
"That's a bigger turn on babe your such a goddess carrying my seed in you"
I smile at his romantic words. Gosh, this guy sure lifts up my self esteem.
"Now come on and feed daddy", Eli says getting off of the couch lifting me up bridal style.
"Babe I'm so tired", I whine.
"Don't worry i'll do all of the work tonight", he waggles his brows at me causing me to blush.
Eli enters our master bedroom as he lays on the bed before crawling over me.
"Be gentle I'm sure our baby is lower in there by now", I say.
Eli bites his bottom lip inserting himself in me without warning.
