Flash forward to halloween 2010
Rory and Logan got home after Finn's costume party and Rory sat down on the couch while Logan walked into the kitchen to get some water.
"Can I just say that you look hilarious?" Logan said. He and Rory had dressed up as each other.
"I look hilarious?" Rory raised an eyebrow "Have you looked in a mirror?"
"I think we can agree that we both look ridiculous"
"Fine" Logan sat down next to Rory and put his hand on her leg. After a few moments of silence Logan spoke again "can I ask you something?" Logan asked, a little nervous
"Of course"
Logan stood up and started pacing "If you're not ready, I completely get it, but what do you think about trying to have a baby?"
Rory sat up straight and looked at Logan "are you being serious? I can't tell if you're being serious"
"Of course I'm being serious"
"Um...wow, ok..." Rory exhaled. She thought for a second before answering "let's do it" Rory said and stood up
"Really?" Logan smiled
Rory nodded
Logan wrapped his arm around Rory's waist, pulling her flush against him and kissed her deeply
"This is gonna be so fun" Logan said
"Fun?" Rory raised an eyebrow
"That's not what I meant. Although..."
Rory just rolled her eyes and kissed him again

"Well?" Logan asked Rory, who was in the bathroom
"Negative" Rory said as she walked out of the bathroom "Mark it on the sex calendar"
"Sex calendar?"
"What would you call it?"
"The period...pregnancy test...alright, fine, it's a sex calendar"
"Told you"

"What's with the weird calendar?" Honor asked when she noticed the calendar on Rory and Logan's kitchen table
"If I tell you, you can't tell anyone" Rory said
Honor gasped "are you pregnant?!" She asked, hopefully
"No, but that's the goal"
"Wait, really?! You guys are really gonna have a baby?"
"Hopefully"

Sometime in June Rory got sick and left work early one day. A few hours later Logan got home to see Rory asleep on the couch. He knelt down in front of her and gently brushed a hair out of her face.
"Hey" he said gently
"Mmm?" Rory mumbled, without opening her eyes
"How are you feeling?"
"Very, very nauseous"
"I'm sorry" Logan sighed "but on a more positive note, any chance the nausea is a pregnancy symptom?"
"Oh, I never even thought about that" Rory did some mental math "I mean...it's not impossible"
"Do you wanna take a test?"
5 minutes later Rory walked out of the bathroom with a pregnancy test. Logan was sitting on the edge of the bed. Rory sat down next to Logan. She leaned her head on his shoulder and we wrapped his arm around her. The timer went off and Logan flipped over the pregnancy test which Rory had put face down.
"This might actually the most frustrating thing I've ever done" Rory said
"It'll happen"
