A couple of weeks later Rory was settled in her own apartment in New York City, and had a good routine. Her relationship with Logan was also going well. They were both living in New York and usually spent the night together, at one of their apartments.
One morning Logan was laying in bed. He had his arm around Rory and her head was on his shoulder. Logan woke up before Rory and let her sleep until he absolutely had to get going.
"Ace" Logan whispered
"Mmm?" Rory mumbled, not opening her eyes
"I have to go"
Rory wrapped her arm around Logan's chest "but you're my pillow"
"I know, but I have to go to work. And so do you"
"I hate work. Work is stupid"
"You love work"
"Let's both take the day off. We can stay in bed all day"
"As tempting as that sounds" Logan kissed the top of Rory's head "I really do have to get going"Logan got up and started getting ready
"I know" Rory pouted
"But, I'll see you later, right?"
"Yeah"

"Rory, I'm so glad you came!" Honor said and hugged Rory when she opened the door
"My sister, ladies and gentleman" Logan joked
"Hi baby brother" Honor hugged Logan
"Congratulations" Logan said
"Thank you"
"This is for you" Rory handed Honor a gift bag
"Thank you" Honor smiled
"How do you feel?" Rory asked
"Like something way too big came out of something way too small, 3 days ago" Honor said, with a chuckled and led them inside to where Josh was holding a baby
"Honor, he's so cute" Logan said
"Just wait until he starts screaming" Honor joked
"Can I hold him?" Logan asked
"Sure" Josh said and handed the baby to Logan
"What's his name?" Rory asked
"Nathan" Honor said
"He's adorable" Rory said
"You can hold him if you'd like" Honor said
"Oh, um..." Rory stuttered, nervously "you know, I think I'm good"
"Ace, are you scared of babies?" Logan chuckled
"I am not scared of babies" Rory said "they just...kinda freak me out a little"
"Wait, seriously?" Logan asked, surprised
"It's just... they're so small, and they puke a lot, and their eyes are really big"
"Huh"

Later that week Rory and Logan went out with Finn and the gang.
"Perfect!" Finn exclaimed when he say Rory and Logan walk into the bar "they're here! Reporter girl, it's nice to have you back"
"It's nice to be back" Rory smiled
"You've missed a lot" Colin said
"I know, Logan filled me in"
"I might have left some things out" Logan whispered
Just then Stephanie, Rosemary, and Juliet walked over to the table
"Rory!" Stephanie exclaimed and hugged her
"Hi" Rory smiled
"Does she know?" Steph asked
"Know what?" Rory asked
"I didn't tell her" Logan said
"Tell me what?"
"Steph got herself knocked up" Finn said
Rory's jaw dropped "what?! How-? Who-?" Rory stuttered
"I would hope that you know how" Rosemary joked
"And as for who..." Stephanie started and everyone looked at Colin
Colin raised his hand "Guilty"
"I'm sorry...what?" Rory said, in shock
"Logan, mate, I think we broke your girlfriend" Finn joked
"We got together around Halloween" Stephanie said "then it was new years, and we were drunk, and well..."
"Baby McCrea, coming September 2008!" Juliet said
"Um...congratulations, I guess"
"I'm honestly surprised that Finn wasn't the first one of us to either accidentally knock someone up or accidentally get knocked up" Rosemary said
"We don't know that for sure" Logan said "there could be a mini Finn out there that we don't know about"
"That's not funny" Finn said in a serious tone
"As long as I'm not the one who's pregnant, I'm happy" Rory said
"Oh yeah, apparently Ace here is afraid of babies" Logan chuckled
"I am not afraid of babies! Don't tell them that!"
"So you never want kids?" Juliet asked
"No, not never...not anytime soon, but not never" Rory said
A little while passed and Logan and Rory were cozy in a booth, watching Colin and Stephanie dance, and everyone else either at the bar, or in Finn's case, trying to find a date
Logan had his arm around Rory and she was snuggled up against him.
"I missed your weird friends" Rory said
"Yeah, they're pretty great" Logan said "not as great as you, though" He kissed her
"You're not as smooth as you think, mister. I know exactly what you're doing"
"Oh yeah?" He started kissing her neck
"Yes. And might I remind you that we're in public"
"That can be changed" Logan smirked "your place or mine?"
Rory thought for a second "mine"
