"You want to give Stiles the bite?" Lydia asked Scott in shock as her face dropped.
Scott just looks at her for a few seconds before saying "To get him through the rift. It's the only way."
"Just to clarify, are you planning on biting everyone in the train station?" Peter asked
"With Stiles back, he'll be able to help us figure out a plan." said Scott
"He's good at that." Malia said
"So the plan is to get Stiles to come up with a plan?" Peter asked
"You can shut up now." Malia said to Peter
"Malia, look around. We're the only ones left in Beacon Hills." Peter said, which was true.
There's no one even in the Sheriff's station right now.
"If they take us, Lydia will be the only one left to haunt the place." Peter continued
"That's why I'm the only person that's going in." Scott said "Liam and Hayden will stay here with Mason. As long as somebody is left in Beacon Hills, the Wild Hunt can't move on."
"I like your plan, Scott. I really do, especially the part about turning Stiles. It can't work." Peter says sarcastically
"How do you know?" Malia asked
"Logic. Life experience." Peter said "Liam, what are the odds that he'll get taken? What if Stiles isn't there? What if my daughter isn't there? What if there's no Beacon Hills for you to come back to?"
"You got a better idea?" Liam spoke up
"Yeah. Usually I would call it "run like hell." said Peter
"You promised you'd help us. We still need to find the rift." Malia said
"I didn't promise you I'd help you commit suicide. The only reason I'd said I would help is that I won't stop at nothing to get Bella back."
"If you can't help, we can find it ourselves." Scott told Peter
"Scott, I admit that you have a flair for beating the odds. But this? You don't walk away from. You run. But I will tell you this, I'm not leaving her behind." Peter said before leaving in frustration
Malia watched sadly as Peter walked out of the station. Malia was starting to understand Peter's love for his youngest daughter. He was the one that got to raise her. He never got to raise Malia. They barely know each other but she could see that Peter was hurting, even if it didn't show it through his touch act.
Later, Scott, Lydia and Malia are all out in the woods looking for the rift.
"When you were here before, how long until the Ghost Rider showed up?" Scott asked Malia
"A couple minutes."
"That's reassuring." Lydia said, shaking her head.
"What's a rift supposed to look like?" Malia asked
"If it's a tear in the fabric of our world." said Lydia "Theoretically it could like anything from a microscopic black hole to a free-floating Einstein-Rosen bridge."
The three of them then stopped and looked up in the sky.
"I really hope it's not up there." Lydia said
Scott sighed "Let's split up."
The three of them looked around. Scott caught his eyes on an underground tunnel.
"Hey, guys! Come look at this." he said, calling Malia and Lydia over
They all walked over and looked inside to see leaves on the ground
"The rift's not above us." Lydia said
"It's below." Scott finished
They go down into the tunnels and it's really dark. They pull out their phones and turn on the flashlights and start looking around.
"I can barely see a thing." said Lydia
"It's gotta be down here somewhere." Scott said
They were walking until Malia hits an invisible wall and flies back to the ground.
"Found it." Malia groaned
The invisible wall is slightly glowing green.
"It looks somewhat similar" Lydia said
"To what?" Malia asked
"To the Einstein Rosen bridge."
"We got to break this." Scott said
"I got it." said Malia as she grabbed one of the pipes on the ground and started pushing it against the rift but nothing happened. The pipe starts melting. Malia dropped it to the ground and backed up.
"There's gotta be another way." said Lydia "We just got to think."
"Think?" Malia said
"Think about how to get through a supernatural rift that melts steel." Scott said
"It's not going to be easy." Lydia said
"But it doesn't have to be so hard." A man said behind them. It was a man named Douglass. Douglass was a teacher at Beacon Hills High School and happens to be an Alpha Werewolf.
"He followed our scent." Scott said, stepping in front of his friends.
"I followed your deception. We're all in a tough spot. Desperate to get inside and save everyone and hoping to find a way to stop this army of the dead. Weall want the same thing." Douglass said
"He has a point." Lydia said
"If he doesn't kill anyone." Malia said
"Else." Scott added "If he doesn't kill anyone else."
"All that matters right now is getting through the rift." said Douglass
"Then you're out of luck." said Malia "The rift burns anything that tries to pass through it."
"Perhaps not everything." Douglass said. Just as he said that, Parrish walked up from Douglass and growled .
"Jordan!" Lydia said in shock
"If the Hellhound can open the rift, we all go together." Douglass said
"You're the bad guy." Malia said "I'm pretty sure helping you is a bad idea."
"Good guy. Bad guy. When has anything ever been so black and white?"
"World War II." Liam said coming into the tunnels "He's a Nazi. He wants the Hunt for himself. HE wants his own supernatural army."
Douglass shook his head and took out a whip. One that belonged to a Ghost Rider.
"We;re not letting you get through that rift." Scott said
"Not letting me?" I see. You still think you have a say in the matter." said Douglass
He cracked the whip and everyone backed up. It missed Scott by an inch. Scott turns and lets out a huge roar. Liam grabs onto Lydia and pulls her to the side. Douglass keeps cracking his whip then Malia moves over too. He keeps missing Scott and then stops. Scott goes over to his friends.
Parrish goes over to the rift and starts breaking it as they watch
"Parrish, stop!" Scott yelled
Every time they try to move, Douglass cracks his whip on them. Parrish breaks the rift and he and Douglass go through.
"Now!" Malia yells
Scott and his pack ran towards the rift but once they got there, it had closed on them. And just as that happened, two Ghost Riders come out of the rift.
"Liam, you and Lydia get to the bunker." Scott told Liam
Liam grabs Lydia and they run out. Malia and Scott stood ready to fight. They both shifted and growled when the Riders walked towards them. One pulled out a whip and cracked it around Scott's neck. Malia comes behind him and starts pulling on the whip to try and get it off. She unwraps the whip and they fall to the ground.
"The whip. It didn't take you." said Malia
"I don't think they're trying to take us. I think they're trying to kill us." said Scott
They stand up and go to fight the Riders. The Ghost Rider wraps its whip around Malia's waist and pulls her across the room. Scott jumps in front of her and catches her. They fall to the ground and the Ghost Rider pulls out its gun, aiming it at them.
A growl was heard from behind and Scott and Malia saw Peter running towards the Ghost Riders. He kicked one against the wall and punched the other one to the ground.
"Why are you running?" Peter said as he turned towards Scott and Malia. They then run down the tunnel but stopped to look back at Peter. The Ghost Riders grab him and Malia goes to help him
But Peter stops her
"Run!!!!" He yells
The Ghost Rider pulls out his gun and shoots Peter and he disappears into the green fog.
At another part of the tunnel, Liam and Lydia nearly encountered a Ghost Rider but it backed away after having seen Lydia. Like it was afraid of her.
Back at Scott's house, Scott just found out that his mother was taken. So was Chris Argent. He's sitting at the table calling his mom over and over again but the number was no longer in service.
"Scott." Malia said as she walked over to him and put her hand on his shoulder "Scott, your mom is gone. But she's still alive."
"What do we do now?" Liam asked
"We can't hide from them." Malia said
"What about Lydia? The Ghost Rider was afraid of her." Liam said
"It wasn't fear. It's almost like reverence." Lydia said as everyone sat down at the table.
"Doesn't matter." Scott said "The rift is gone. We're the only ones left in Beacon Hills."
They hear a knock at the door and see Sheriff Stilinski walk in "I have a son. His name is Michislav Stilinski. But we call him Stiles. I remember. When Stiles was a little kid, he couldn't say his first name. Not sure why. It pretty much rolls off the tongue. But the closest he could get was 'mischief'. His mother called him that until...." The sheriff sighed before continuing "I remember when Stiles got his jeep. It belonged to his mother. She wanted him to have it. The first time when he took a spin behind the heel, he went straight into a ditch. I gave him his first roll of duct tape that day. He was always getting into trouble. But he always had a good heart. We're here tonight because my goofball son decided to drag Scott, his greatest friend in the world, into the woods to see a dead body."
"How did you remember?" Scott asked with tears in his eyes.
"It started with Stiles' jersey." Sheriff said, looking at Lydia. "Then I found the red strong for his crime board. Finally, his whole room came back and all the memories. And the strangest thing happened."
"What?" Lydia asked
"I thought I saw him. It's like something open right there in the middle of the room. Just for a moment. And then it was gone."
"A rift." said Scot
"I thought there was only one rift. We saw it disappear." Malia said
"You remembered Stiles and then a new rift was created." Scott said
"If the sheriff can do it, maybe we can." said Lydia
"But that rift closed." Liam said
"Then we'll open it again." Scott said
"How?" The sheriff asked
"By remembering Stiles."
