Present Day....
Both Dracula and Martha proceeded inside his office after the big fight that happened back downstairs. Dracula's anger was boiling that he tried his best to calm himself down by drinking blood beaters. He didn't like secrets being kept from him and his family. Martha however was a little bit upset on how her husband reacted earlier.
MARTHA: Drac, I can't believe you did that?
DRACULA: What?
MARTHA: Punishing Johnny like that. You didn't have to kick him and his family out of the hotel.
DRACULA: Martha, haven't you forgotten what he did to us? He lied to us all these years and it hurt our Mavy-Wavy! After all, he's the reason we're in this situation.
MARTHA: Is this because of who he truly is?
DRACULA: Yes! We just found out that Johnathan is related to Van Helsing, Alfred said so. His family is the reason why Mavis and I lost you that night.
MARTHA: And his family is the reason why I'm still alive.
DRACULA: What are you talking about?
Dracula stared at Martha in confusion. She thought of telling him the time when Abraham and Gustav Van Helsing captured her and was soon rescued by Simon Van Helsing.
MARTHA: Remember the time I told you that there were humans who captured after the fire? Those humans were the Van Helsings. One of them helped me escaped that night.
DRACULA: A Van Helsing helped you?
MARTHA: From what I can tell, he was different from the others. His eyes had no hatred at all. He didn't want to kill monsters.
DRACULA: But that doesn't change of what I think to Johnny right now!
MARTHA: Don't you get it? Even though Johnny didn't know that he was related to Van Helsing, he wasn't even born back then. What we can do is to bring him back here and help him and Mavis to fix their problems. Besides, are willing to banish Johnny away because he did one mistake instead recalling the times he saved us from heavy situations?
Dracula thought about what Martha said. Even though Dracula thought banishing Johnny away from the hotel, he did recall the times when Batman/Johnny saved him, Mavis, Dennis, and everyone else from danger.
A small part of Dracula thought that he should forgive Johnny and give him a second chance. Before Dracula could even speak up, an armored knight entered his office unannounced.
(armored knight): Sir, we have a problem underneath the castle.
MARTHA: (*sigh) Just go take care of that. I'll go check on Mavis and Dennis.
Martha said in a tired tone as she soon exited his office to check on Mavis and Dennis. Dracula just let out a sigh of frustration and talked to the armored knight.
DRACULA: This has better be good.
(armored knight): I'm afraid nothing has been good tonight. While you were dealing with Van Helsing, his men broke into the cave of Lycidias Dracula.
Dracula widened his eyes in shock and transformed into his bat form in a hurry. When Dracula arrived underneath the hotel, he could see the entrance door of the cave was blown up by the militia soldiers earlier tonight.
When Dracula entered the former cave of Lycidias Dracula, the small box was gone. One of Dracula's worst fears has been realized.
But just to make things even worse, Martha ran into Dracula. She had terrified look on her face like something bad happened up there.
MARTHA: Drac. Drac!
DRACULA: Martha, what's wrong?
MARTHA: It's Mavis! She's not in her room! I can't find her anywhere in the hotel!
This shocked Dracula in horror thinking that something terrible might happen to his daughter out there all alone, especially with Van Helsing and the Arkham Knight on the lose.
Meanwhile....
Van Helsing and the Arkham Knight got back to their new secret base alongside with their militia forces. The Arkham Knight went inside at the cell of the kidnapped Commissioner James Gordon and beaten him up for torture while Van Helsing just stood there and watched.
Opposite to Batman/Johnny who fights crime, the Arkham Knight/Adrian Chase has this pure hatred against law enforcers because of what they did to his parents when he was just a child.
GORDON: (*cough) Is.... is that.... all you got?
ARKHAM KNIGHT: Keep talking, old man. You'll figure it out soon.
GORDON: (*scoff) Pff.... you don't scare me.... you know that, right?
VAN HELSING: That's enough for today. Save your strength.
It was a shame that the Arkham Knight wanted to hurt Gordon some more but unfortunately him and Van Helsing had to lock Gordon again in his cell.
Inside Van Helsing's private study, the Arkham Knight removed his helmet visor revealing the face of Adrian Chase and discussed with Van Helsing about the box they stole from the hotel.
ADRIAN: Whatever reasons you sent my men underneath the hotel would better be worth it, Van Helsing.
VAN HELSING: It will be, Adrian. This is the ultimate power destroying Dracula and the entire human race.
ADRIAN: What the hell is that supposed to be?
VAN HELSING: This box contains the spirit of Lycidias Dracula himself.
Van Helsing opened the box as it made a loud noise. The spirit of Lycidias Dracula broke free from its thousand year prison box. Adrian Chase was startled that he grabbed his pistol gun Van Helsing forced him to lower his weapon. Besides, why would you kill something that has been dead for thousands of years.
LYCIDIAS: Who dares set the spirit of Lycidias Dracula free!
VAN HELSING: I did. I am Gabriel Van Helsing. I'm sure you've encountered my ancestors a long time ago.
Lycidias released a loud demonic roar when Van Helsing introduced himself.
LYCIDIAS: A Van Helsing! I shall kill you!
VAN HELSING: (*chuckle) You better think wisely Lycidias. You do not want to kill me yet.
LYCIDIAS: Hmm... and what makes you think that I will let you live?
VAN HELSING: If you let me live, then I will help you destroy Count Dracula and take over the entire underworld.
LYCIDIAS: Count Dracula? How would a human help destroy the prince of darkness?
VAN HELSING: Me and the Arkham Knight over here have unlimited supplies of resources and weaponry. With us working together side by side, nothing can stop us.
LYCIDIAS: Then what is it for you?
VAN HELSING: We have a common enemy, Lycidias. And a common agenda. I help you, then I want you give me immortality. I want to possess the powers of the most powerful vampire to rival Count Dracula himself.
LYCIDIAS: If that's what you want, then so be it.
The spirit of Lycidias emitted inside the body of Van Helsing as he slowly beginning to feel the changes of his body. As Van Helsing observed all of the powers of Lycidias Dracula at once, he felt his strength and intelligence increasing rapidly. His voice also changed into a disoriented one and roared.
ADRIAN: Van Helsing, what the hell is happening to you? You alright?
VAN HELSING: Alright? I've never felt so much power before!
Van Helsing panted deeply while clenching his fist tightly possessing the immortality and powers of the ancient vampire. Van Helsing was now powerful enough to go head to head against Dracula in a fight and other monsters who dare to stand in his way.
Adrian puts his helmet visor back on as his militia sergeant was trying to contact him through his communication broadcast.
ARKHAM KNIGHT: Sergeant, what the hell do you want!?
(militia sergeant): Sir, we have a confirmation sightings of a vampire within the forest. It appears to be female. Could be the Count's daughter.
ARKHAM KNIGHT: (*chuckle) The heartbroken Mavis never moved on, didn't she. I'm sending you backup, Sergeant. Van Helsing wants the vampire captured alive.
A small group of militia soldiers grabbed their weapons to capture the vampire while the Arkham Knight joined his men and the now overpowered Van Helsing with a crossbow weapon.
