The Next Day....
The night after the human protest, Mavis and her friends, Wendy, Sophie, and Charlotte, were all together in her suite doing a little knitting.
WENDY: I have to admit this is kinda fun. We should do this more often just us girls.
CHARLOTTE: You sure Johnny and Dennis wouldn't mind that we stay here for awhile?
MAVIS: Oh, no. I'm sure they wouldn't mind. Besides Johnny and Dennis are at the court and I could use the company.
SOPHIE: I agree with Wendy. We definitely need to hangout again without the guys.
MAVIS: Yeah sure. That'll be great... hehe...
Mavis replied a little weakly like something was bothering her, mostly thinking about turning Johnny into a vampire.
CHARLOTTE: Uh, Mavis. Are you feeling alright?
MAVIS: Whaaat? Pff... of course I'm fine.
SOPHIE: Really? Because you look like that you're upset about something?
WENDY: Come on, Mavis. You can tell us. We're here for you.
Mavis finally gave in and confessed to her friends.
MAVIS: (*sigh) I don't know, girls. I guess I'm little bit worried about Johnny.
WENDY: Johnny? What's wrong with Johnny?
MAVIS: I was actually thinking about turning him into a vampire.
CHARLOTTE, SOPHIE, and WENDY: WHAT!!?
MAVIS: I know, I know. It's a big deal and I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to do it.
SOPHIE: But Mavis, What made you came up with that?
MAVIS: Because Johnny is just human and he doesn't live that much long to live. I just don't want to lose him.
Mavis kept talking to her friends about her little situation until finally Johnny came in their suite but not knowing what the girls were talking.
All of the girls, mostly Mavis, got anxious when they saw Johnny come in.
JOHNNY: Oh, Mavis. I didn't knew you have company. I'll just come back later.
WENDY: That's okay, Johnny. We were just about to leave anyway.
CHARLOTTE: It was really fun spending the day together with you, Mavis.
MAVIS: You too. I'll see you girls later.
Wendy, Sophie, and Charlotte left the room leaving Johnny and Mavis in their suite alone.
MAVIS: Where's Dennis? You didn't bring him with you.
JOHNNY: He's actually at the basketball court playing with Winnie but Hank and Pedro are with them. So what are you girls doing back here?
MAVIS: Oh nothing. Just doing a little knitting like back in our old ghoul guides.
JOHNNY: Aww... that's cute.
Johnny smiled as he examined the knit that Mavis made, which he found it really cute.
Soon after that, Johnny noticed that something was bothering Mavis by looking at her sad gesture in her face.
Johnny gently held her hand to comfort her.
JOHNNY: You okay, baby?
MAVIS: Yeah. Of course I'm okay.
JOHNNY: Come on, what's wrong. You seem kinda stressed out. Wait.... you're not... pregnant again are you?
MAVIS: No, honey. I wouldn't hide that from you. My dad maybe but definitely not you.
JOHNNY: Oh. So... what's bothering you? You can tell me.
Deep down that one way or another, Mavis has tell Johnny the truth sometime in the future. She decided to come clean to him right now.
MAVIS: (*sigh) Are you sure about this?
JOHNNY: Definitely.
MAVIS: I was thinking about turning you into a vampire?
Johnny widened his eyes in surprised after he heard from Mavis.
JOHNNY: Wait.... really? Why?
MAVIS: It's because I just realized that you won't be with me and Dennis much longer.
JOHNNY: What do you mean?
MAVIS: Humans don't live as long as vampire's life span. I thought that turning you into a vampire is the only we get to be together for eternity.
Johnny took some time to progress and think about it. No long enough, Johnny broke the silence about the surprisingly news.
JOHNNY: Then okay.
MAVIS: What?
JOHNNY: Mavis, I love you and Dennis so much! I don't want you to see me grow old and die. I would do anything or give up anything just to spend my entire life to be with you.
Johnny calmly said as he gently held both of Mavis' hands. This actually made Mavis smiled.
JOHNNY: (*thought) I'd even give up being Batman just for you.
Johnny said in his mind. He'd rather retire as Batman just to spend his whole life with his family peacefully and safe somehow in the future.
MAVIS: Even if I wanted to turn you, I'm not just sure how it works. My dad told me that once you're fully turned into a vampire, there's a chance that you might transformed into a complete monster like Bela.
Mavis recalled the chat she had with her parents. If Johnny wants to become to be a vampire just for the power, then his transformation will be a complete monster as his soul. But Mavis knew that Johnny wasn't like that.
MAVIS: I... I'm scared about this, Johnny. I don't know if this could work or not.
JOHNNY: (*sigh) If you're not ready about this yet, then we can talk about it later.
MAVIS: Are you sure?
JOHNNY: Absolutely. I wouldn't want to force you because we already have enough problems to worry about. We can cross that bridge when we get there.
MAVIS: Thanks for understanding, honey.
The young couple shared a small kiss and a hug.
JOHNNY: Besides, we still have plenty of time before I grow old and die.
MAVIS: JOHNNY!
JOHNNY: (*chuckle) I'm kidding.
Johnny laughed still hugging Mavis and made eye contact with her.
JOHNNY: But for real, babe. I love you.
MAVIS: I love you too, honey. And I'm also sure that Dennis loves you too.
Both Mavis and Johnny kissed passionately and cuddled on the couch enjoying this precious moment being together.
