"Hello?" I said yawning.
"Hey Storm, are you on your way to school ?" She asked.
"Ugh, no. I'm not feeling good." I said.
"Oh ok. What wrong ? I'm going through a program for school since I missed 6 months of school. I have to catch up." She said.
Alex was calling on the other line.
"Oh ok I see... but I just got a little cold." I lied to her.
"Oh well, I'll let you rest, I was just calling to ask you....." I cut her off, " Zulia, hold on."
I clicked over to Alex.
"What!?" I yelled.
"Hey, can we talk in person?" He asked.
"Why should I talk to you in person ?" I asked with a attitude.
"It's important." He said sounding serious.
I sighed, "Come on!" I said then hanging up.
I really didn't want to be bothered, knowing he could be the reason I died in the next 10 to 15 years.
I was looking out the window thinking if I should call Zulia back, but I really was trying to ignore her question.
It was to hard and embarrassing to answer.
I knew she would really really hate me forever.
I got a text from her, "I'm buying a plane ticket to come visit you. How about for this weekend?" She asked.
I stared at the text for a long time.
I couldn't think straight to even answer her.
I was thinking if I wanted to go to the clinic or not.
If I wanted to know if I had the disease or not.
I wasn't to sure about anything anymore.
Alex pulled up infront of my apartment, then honked the horn.
I rolled my eyes then opened my front door.
"I'm not coming out, you come in." I texted him.
He came in the house looking restless.
"What's the problem ?" I asked him with a attitude.
"Look, I just came from the doctor."
I rolled my eyes, "Ok? I'm going today too."
"No need." He said pulling a cigarette out to smoke it.
"Why?" I asked.
" they said you won't be able to tell this soon if you have it. Which means Ava crack head ass must of had it for a while now."
I shook my head then sighed, "Damn! How long has she been taking drugs ?" I asked.
He shrugged, "But, they said the chances of people getting hepatitis from sex is very low. You mostly get it from needles."
I sat on my couch and took a deep breath in relief.
