THWIP!
You immediately call her. She speaks to you discreetly and through her earpiece.
You: Clem! I'm on my way. Are you hurt?
Clementine: No. I'm fine. Just hurry.
You: I'm going as fast as I can. What are you doing at GCT?
Clementine: I'll explain later. Listen, Li is going to blow this place up.
You: You have to get out of there!
Clementine: He's not going to do it until Mayor Ezekiel gets here.
You: That's probably what Li wants. Maximum chaos. He probably wants Ezekiel to get caught in the explosion too.
Clementine: Classic New Frontier logic.
You land on the top of GCT. You enter an air vent and crawl through it.
You: I'm here. Anything I should look out for?
Clementine: Seems like they have some drones. They really must not want you around.
You: Don't worry, I'm in the ventilation system. Do you see a safe exit?
Clementine: Southwest corner.
You continue climbing through the maze-like vents and make it to an exit. You leave the vent and climb the side of the wall, surveying the terminal. You see the hostages, including Clementine. Demons roam around with guns in hand. You swing behind a column and hide.
You: These drones will spot me if I get any closer.
Clementine spots a tablet on a crate nearby, but a Demon is beside it.
Clementine: Do you see that tablet I'm looking at? That controls the drones.
You: Do you think you can snag it?
Clementine: Yeah, if you find a way to distract them.
You look around, and see the big metal clock in the middle of the room by the ticket booth.
You: Got it.
You shoot an impact web at the clock, the clank sound alerting the Demons. They raise their rifles at it in confusion. Clementine sneaks towards the tablet and takes it. Then, one of the hostages try to play hero and charges at a Demon. The man is quickly subdued and about to be shot, but Clementine intervenes.
Clementine: Wait! Don't hurt him.
The Demon holds his gun at him.
Demon 1: Who are you?
Clementine: Look, I'm a reporter. I have a direct line to the Mayor, and I can make sure he gets here on time.
Demon 1: How?
Clementine: First, let him go.
The Demon thinks for a bit, but then lets the man go. He motions at another Demon to radio their boss. He gets the go ahead, and speaks in Chinese to his colleagues.
Demon 2: (Bring her over there, away from the others. Mr. Li is on his way.)
A Demon begins escorting Clementine towards the stairs. Clementine walks past the column into the new area, when suddenly you swing down and grab the Demon. You throw him up and web him to the top of the column. You climb back on the ceiling and speak to her through your Bluetooth.
You: More of them are coming! Move!
Clementine sneaks away and jumps down from a railing. She then walks up another set a stairs and makes it to a platform overlooking the hostages. She sees drones still patrolling.
You: Still got that tablet?
Clementine: Yup.
She takes it out and begins swiping through the controls. She disables the drones.
Clementine: I got it.
You rappel down from the ceiling and face her upside down.
You: Great. Let's get you out of here.
Clementine: What about the bomb?
You: I've dealt with this before. I'll come back for it.
Clementine: No. We're working on this together, remember?
You: Can we argue later?
Clementine: If we don't help those people, they could die.
You: So could you, I can't let that happen.
You hold your hand out so she can take it.
Clementine: No, I got myself into this. I need to get myself out of it.
She walks away and begins making her way downstairs.
You: What do you mean you got yourself into this?
You swing back up to the ceiling, surveying the area. Clementine starts distracting Demons by throwing objects and letting you subdue them. The two of you work in tandem as Clementine makes her way to the middle of the room where the bomb is. She gets close, then suddenly Vince walks in.
Vince: (Where's the reporter?)
Demon 1: (She's here somewhere...we'll find her soon.)
You need to distract the group so Clementine can make it to the bomb. You shoot two web-lines at a digital screen and pull it, dropping it on top of a Demon. Vince cracks his neck, and begins commanding his men as he walks away.
Vince: Start the timer.
One Demon runs up to the bomb and engages it. The two minute countdown begins. The remaining Demons disperse, leaving the bomb alone with the hostages.
You: Now's your chance.
Clementine quickly goes over to the bomb. She examines it.
You: What do you see?
Clementine: Looks weird, like a water jug.
You: Looks like they're still using similar tech that Mitch used. You have to peel back the metal plate.
Clementine: I don't have super strength, you know?
You: Can you unscrew the plate off?
Clementine goes into her pocket and takes her keys out. This could work. She begins unscrewing the plate off the side and exposes wires.
Clementine: I see wires. Color coded.
You: The New Frontier loves yellow. That's what will disable it. Don't cut red, please.
Clementine pulls the yellow wire out, and the timer stops. She defused the bomb.
Clementine: I did it!
Suddenly, a Demon spots Clementine by the bomb. He yells and aims his rifle at her. You drop down onto him and hit his face against the floor.
You: Get these people out of here!
Clementine: Everyone follow me!
Clementine starts leading the hostages out of the terminal. Demons enter the area and prepare to fight you.
One slams his scythe down and it's negative energy shoots towards you. You front flip over it and kick the Demon down. Your spider sense alerts you of another Demon preparing to shoot his rifle. You dodge the gunfire and pull the firearm out of his hands.
You continue fighting the group, then you get a call from Clementine.
You: Hey, Clem. You make it out okay?
Clementine: We're safe. Now find Li and kick his ass.
She hangs and up and continue combating the remaining Demons.
One Demon shoots from an RPG, but you swiftly web the projectile and toss it back near the group's feet. The explosion knocks them all back.
You: I could do this all day, but I have to stop your nutjob of a boss from destroying the city.
You run through one of the terminal gates and see a train departing the station. You web-zip towards it and crash through the back door. There, you see Vince.
Or as he goes by in his full form, Mr. Negative.
Mr. Negative: Finally.
You: Sorry I'm late, it's kind of my thing.
Vince charges at you and swings three times, but you dodge each attack. You then give a three hit combo yourself, each punch expelling energy from his body.
Vince evades your last kick and charges his hands with energy, blasting you further down the train car.
You recover and zip towards him, kicking him through the door and entering the next part of the moving train.
You: Why are you doing this?
Vince gets back up.
Mr. Negative: Paying off an old debt.
He starts channeling energy again, this time blasting a horizontal beam of energy at you. You leap up onto the ceiling and evade it, dropping back down and then shooting an electric web at Li.
It shocks him, giving you the chance to charge and start punching him again. He grabs your neck and slams you to the side.
You: Let me help you, Vince!
He ignores your statement and he leaps off the train, the both of you crashing through the window of another moving train.
Passengers are startled by the sudden entrance and begin running out of the train car.
Vince keeps on punching you, but you shoot a web at the ceiling and pull yourself back up, kicking Vince away in the process.
Vince begins channeling energy again, this time also shooting vertical beams. You dodge them by leaping to the side. You zip towards Vince and continue fighting him, which ends up with him pinning you to the ground.
You: I don't want to hurt you, Vince!
Mr. Negative: Nothing can hurt me anymore!
He charges his fists, but you quickly punch him in the face. You leap back up and use two feet to kick him back. He crashes into the control panel of the train, electrocuting him and knocking him unconscious.
You look at the fried panel. There was no way to stop the train.
You run over to the back of the train car and break the latch connecting the other cars to the main car. The back train cars start slowing down but the car you and Vince are in are speeding into a dead end.
You: Let's get out of here, energy boy.
You grab Vince's unconscious body and leap out of the train car. You land near the subway tracks and witness the carriage crash into the barrier.
You take a breath, laying on the ground near Vince's body.
You hope this is the last time you have to deal with trains.
