You groggily answered the phone at 6 in the morning, not bothering to check the caller ID because anyone who had the audacity call you at this time had better be important.

"How soon can you get here?"

Was the first thing you heard on the line. You recognized that voice. Jaemin, one of your co workers at the city cafe you barista at.

"Huh? I don't work today"

You managed to mumble.

"Well now you do"

"...I'm literally at home in my pajamas"

"Perfect, so you're not busy"

"It's 6:00 in the morning, of course I'm not busy!"

"And? How early do you think I got here?"

"Jaemin I am not coming to work on my day off"

"Please, it would really help me out a lot"

"And what do I get out of it?"

"The satisfaction of knowing you came to work, now hurry up"

You scoffed at the audacity of him to hang up on you, but part of you knew deep down that if you didn't get your butt over there you would be hearing about it. Jaemin was the owners nephew (and therefore assistant manager) after all.

Half an hour later when you walked into work groggily and with an attitude, you didn't expect to find a reason to suddenly be happy you were here.

That reason would be Jisung, the cute delivery boy who brought coffee beans and pastries from the bakery across town for you to sell. Also known as, your boyfriend.

"Y/n!"

He looked up excitedly from the box he was unpacking when he saw you walk in the door.

"I didn't know you would be here today"

"Neither did I"

You told him sarcastically. You had just leaned up to give him a kiss when-

"Y/N!"

Jaemins yelling startled you back from your boyfriend and you turned to see him pacing towards you with someone else behind him trying to keep up.

"Thank GOD you're here! I am UNBELIEVABLY busy, and there's a new barista for you to train"

You slow blinked at him.

"Jaemin it's 6:45 am and there's no one here, why are you stressed already?"

He just looked at you.

"And why are you yelling random words again? Did you put more than two shots of espresso in your coffee? I told you not to do that y'kn-"

"Okay! Enough about me, this is my friend Jeno and I need you to train him because I'm very busy"

It was then that you noticed the tall, muscular, black haired boy standing partially behind Jaemin. You could tell he was handsome even under the mask, and when he smiled at you his eyes turned into adorable crescent moons.
