This wasn't the first time NCT dream had visited the small teokbokki restaurant a few minutes away from their dorm, but it was the first time they had come alone. Not to mention, it was Jaemins first time seeing you. There you were, outside at the hostess stand helping customers and directing people to their seats. You weren't doing anything except your job, but he thought you looked absolutely ethereal.

"They're probably gonna be busy tonight"

Haechan sighed, rolling his eyes as he took one for the team and walked over to talk to you about getting a table. He came back shortly with the news.

"It's a 30-45 minute wait"

He said, about to explain that he put their names down on the wait list when he was cut off.

"Step aside, I got this"

Jaemin smirked, thinking he could impress both you and his friends at the same time.

He rocked up to the hostess stand in the lead, immediately seeing you writing down how many tables were left at the moment. You didn't notice him when he approached, so he cleared his throat to get your attention.

"Oh sorry, hi how are you?"

You apologized, smiling and speaking in your customer service voice.

"I'm doing great now that I'm seeing you"

He flirted, in true Nana style. You raised an eyebrow in disbelief that someone was actually flirting with you, but returned to your neutral expression moments later. He didn't seem to be bothered by your reaction, and continued with his spiel.

"My friends and I need a table for six, we come here often"

You nodded.

"Yes, I know, he just told me. It's gonna be a 30-45 minute wait"

You said, gesturing to Haechan, who was rolling his eyes at Jaemins idiocy. Jaemin ran a hand through his hair and leaned against the hostess stand.

"Incase you didn't notice, I'm Jaemin from NCT Dream"

"Okay Jaemin from NCT Dream, it's still going to be a 30-45 minute wait"

You responded with an absolute pokerface, causing the group of boys behind him to erupt in laughter.

Jaemin seemed to be momentarily shocked that for once his advances didn't work on someone, and he didn't regain his composure fast enough to talk to you again before your attention was drawn elsewhere.

He thought, already planning for when he would see you again.

The second time
"Hi Chenle, hi Jisung"

"Hey"

They said in unison, sending small waves your way as you walked into their dorm after someone who you'd learned was named Jeno had let you in.

"You three know each other?!"

Jaemin asked, being clearly over dramatic from his seat on the opposite couch in the living room.

"We go to school together, Y/n and I are seat mates"

Jisung spoke up with Chenle nodding in agreement. Although Chenle was a grade above you, you were friends with Jisung, thus friends with him. Jaemin looked flabbergasted.
