Eli didn't even dare to speak, something about her presence is making everyone around her submissive how can a woman make them feel such way. After walking for few minutes they finally arrived in a big door, it was decorated with roses and curls that are colored in gold. Before entering the booming voice of the guard in front of her announces her arrival and with that all ladies stood their way to greet the royal empress. The ladies bow at her as y/n walked inside her gown was moving graciously as she eyed each one of the ladies, after that they slowly lift their faces to meet the new crowned empress.

After this the noble ladies proceed to take their designated seats and with that the tea part started, Eli stood not far from the group but he can hear enough. y/n scan the new faces as she tried to remember each of the names of the ladies, it will be very helpful is she can make friends with few of them but not long before her eyes falls to a very familiar face. The woman who insulted her yesterday night sat on the far place near one of the few noble ladies who was not smiling at her. The atmosphere was heavy and just like that one of the noble ladies spoke " so your highness may we ask when will your night with the emperor be?" eyes fall on her as she smiled a bit, it was not a secret that the emperor just married her for such duty and now they are pinning such outrageous issues for her to be shamed. Few of the noble ladies watch from the sideline while the group who asked her about it is smirking so hard. Eli stood still watching how will y/n handle such situations. " I don't think the noble ladies will be interested by such issues, I thought you will asked me something that is useful I guess you are all just like normal girls, who likes to gossip"

All eyes turned to the new empress, few nasty looks but few are still respectable not long the girl who asked about the matter spoke again " it may sound rude to you your highness but we and I mean us from the noble family are just curious about the future heir of the kingdom" the tone of the woman holds venom and her sound is convincingly mocking y/n. But y/n smirk once again this time she slowly turned her head to the woman and with such graceful word she speak her a response " it is not my duty to answer your question, nor my line to speak about such matter if you would like you can directly ask the emperor" with the mention of the emperor the ladies tremble in fear.

It was an upfront humiliation if they really do ask these things to the emperor and yet y/n managed to stay calm and recollected while speaking. The woman cannot hide her annoyance how smooth y/n is talking her way she was not a normal noble to begin with but they never actually though that they can't even annoy her. With that the female stand up from her seat to walk away from the group of nobles, all eyes falls and follows her as she exit the room but not long after the eyes that follows her steadied themselves to the new empress. She was not someone you can offend the strong and bold words she speaks are enough to show her dominance and with that the ladies decided not to ask anything about her personal life.

The tea time went smoothly, the noble ladies started to talk about their hobbies and such while other time they talk about the upcoming Royal Flower Knight event. An event where all the royal guards will participate, it was a very famous event of the oletus kingdom that happens every year. The king usually join the event but in the last few years he didn't show any signs of joining but this year is different he was already married and he needed to honor the marriage by participating.

" that is for today ladies" Eli was gentle to speak, few eyes turned to him with gentle gaze " thank you so much for inviting us your highness" a girl with brown hair smiles at y/n she nodded before standing up leading all the ladies to follow her gestures. " it was wonderful to meet you all, I do hope to see you again" y/n tone was warm and welcoming but still it holds such tone that made them realized that she is the queen. The noble ladies smiles at her one more time before bowing their good bye, once all the ladies are gone Eli spoke to y/n " you've done wonderfully well your highness, let me guide you back to your chamber" Eli didn't wait for approval, y/n gently nodded her head before walking out the room the royal maids and servants follow not behind as Eli took his place behind the queen.
