IDV | Aesop Carl X Reader ( The Empress)

" what are you doing here your majesty?" Aesop slowly walked in front of her as he eyed the empress, " I figured out that you will be wandering around so I followed you" the man spoke, y/n slowly continued her walk as Aesop slowly follow behind her. " the music from the halls can reach this place" Aesop spoke " indeed and it was such lovely music" y/n added, after few seconds y/n turned to Aesop and smirk " would you do me the honor your majesty" her hand was extended to him with a very cute position, Aesop's face flush in instant but decided to accept the offer.

That night they dance their hearts away and finally figuring out that being in each other's hand is calming.

Timeskip:

" UGHHH" y/ns groans was loud she buried her face on the pillow as she recall what happen last night after their dance. It was romantic and very well deserved and yet she failed to see that the king had a focus adoration towards her and what not an offering to aid her.

" use me, I will support you. I may now be the strongest and wisest emperor but I will give you a hand to use me" Aesop's strong hand and clear gray eyes focuses on y/ns confuse eyes. She was never in thoughts to think that the emperor will show her such grace and favor. She planned to fight her battles on her own to begin with, a king who only looked at her when she walks was not someone she will trust and yet when Aesop spoke those words she wanted to somehow lean and depend on him.

" I will do you honor then your majesty"

That morning she joined Aesop in breakfast which never actually happened " good morning your majesty" Aesop smiles a bit and she thought that his smile is really bright, she also ponder why he only show her poke face when she arrived in the palace and yet now he was showing her more emotions that ever. " come and join me y/n" it was the very first time Aesop called her name and somehow he felt very new to it. The name he never thought he will call was now the name he wanted to call out everytime. " thank you your majesty" and with that the two of them shared a very well conduct breakfast.

Breakfast proceeded like normal and after that they needed to go in the morning routine which is the throne room morning routine. The emperor and the empress would need to discuss matters with few higher up nobles that is in the kingdom, doing this for the last few days y/n managed to get a hang out it and so it was a fairly manageable routine for her. In her mother kingdom she don't need to do any official matters in fact she don't actually do any princess duties it was all handle well by her maids and her royal servants. What she usually do is train with few notable soldiers and do some observing around the kingdom villages.

She was not someone who do the duty works but she can do it really well if needed, in the last few days she somehow managed to get a good grasp of the work on the empress in the kingdom and so adapting in the kingdoms new set of duties and responsibility didn't take her really long to get used to.

" the investigation about the matter is clearly going really well we will be able to commit more evidence in the next few days" one of the man in the hall spoke with such loud voice, Y/n who was sitting beside the king just nodded as she observed the whole happening,. It has been a while since she heard good news from the kingdom it was always a negative news about the failure or wage of war but not things are slowly getting good.

Before Aesop can speak a loud banging on the door was heard, the soldiers panic as they realized what is happening. The kingdom was under attack "your highnesses please escape now" one of the soldiers spoke with calm tone. " Okay" the nobles prepared themselves into a fight but they know well that they can only hold up until the backup arrived until that time they needed to keep the king and queen safe.

" your highness take my hand" as y/n offered to Aesop, he didn't even hesitate as she took the empress hands and with that a circle of patterns engulf them into a magical barrier. " please be careful your majesty" one of the noble spoke and just like that y/n and Aesop fade into the air. Just in time the enemies managed to open the door and capture the soldiers and nobles inside.
