Aesop felt a tug of pain in his chest, questions starts to float inside his mind as he ponder why do he feel such emotions when seeing y/n. He abruptly turned around not liking the attention the queen is getting as his royal servants follow behind him. Eli slowly made his way towards y/n to offer his service " my queen let me take care of that, we will bring if back to the palace" and with that y/n smiled giving the rose glass to her trusted butler and with that Eli slowly guided the empress back to her tent to prepare for departure.

y/n sat comfortable on the chair as they wait for the king to arrive, but he never came in fact the waiting of the emperor lasted for few hours. Most of the nobles are already gone from the field and few of the highest nobles sat for short tea and business talk. Y/n eyed the tea she was given, she already finish two cups of tea and yet the emperor is still not in sight to be seen not long a soldier came panting as he run towards Eli. " greetings your highness, I am bringing a message from the emperor" with that the soldier handed the letter to Eli he opened the note as she read the content with the royal seal. After few seconds he closed the letter as he eyed the empress before speaking " his majesty ordered that you are to go back now, my empress." Hearing this didn't shock y/n anymore what could she expect from the man who can't even look at her one bit?

She smiled and nodded, Eli then was surprised there is no tinge of disappointment in the empress eyes and yet he was concern how will the newly crowned woman will react. " airtight then let's go now" with that Eli nodded before bowing his head and leading the lady where the royal carriage is waiting. Eli offered his hand to the queen as she accepted it, being guided to the grassy place where the carriage is stationed. She comfortably sat inside as she eyed the outside. It was starting to get dark, the color of the sky was already orange and few streaks of blue she cannot bring herself to hate the king for she knows really well it won't do anything good and with that she decided to let it go.

That is the kind of man her husband was it's not like she can do anything about it and with that decided to not think about it too much. Eli sat on the opposite corner of the carriage he was going over the list of the next day schedule, he wonder why the queen never shew any emotions even though the king had been showing her so many things worthy to be disappointed. The king never schedule the sharing of the room, he never visited the queen and don't even spare her few words everyday a normal noble lady would have been desperate already and yet the new queen was all still calm and gentle.

He was wondering how can such fine lady, tolerate such bad treatment but he had no courage the empress aloud he returned his eyes back to his paper works as he tried his best not to think about it anymore. Y/n was enjoying her peaceful time when the carriage suddenly stop her eyes flung outside once again as she began to feel something is off.

" what is happening?" she began to speak but before Eli could answer her, the sound of screams and sword clashing echoes around them. Eli understood what is happening there are under attract and with that Eli grab the empress hand as he began to open the door just in time he managed to get the queen outside a group of man wearing black clothing blocked their way. " who are you and who sent you?" Eli was loud to ask the group of man, one of the man laugh a bit before speaking " no need to know you will die here anyway" Eli and y/n eyed the surrounding seeing all their soldiers down and bleeding on the floor, few maid servants were bloody crying on the floor as few of the other butlers was kneeling.

y/ns eyes darken as she saw what is the current situation, she was about to speak when Eli pulled her to his back " we will not let this go, we will make sure you will all be punished" Eli was strong headed to reply, but the group of man just laugh at him, there are total of 20 man in the place and no way of escape. Eli was already thinking of so many ways to make a break of it, he needed to protect the empress whatever happens she need to survive this.
