The event proceeded smoothly every soldiers was putting off their everything to win the favor of the girls they adored and with that the first half of the game was done. The winner of the archery competition if from the silver squad who is well known in the kingdom. The oletus kingdom has 3 major squads, the three squads' works on different sides of the territory of the kingdom the silver squad was stationed on the north part of the kingdom, the rose squad was stationed on the east and the azur was on the west. Each squad has a distinctive leader, the leader of the silver is known to be loud and very hyper ( Norton Campbell) the leader of the rose squad was silent and very tactical ( Luca Balsa) and the last leader who was from the azur squad was silent but very wise ( Victor Grantz).

Norton eyed the empress for a short while, the beauty he had never seen was enough to make him yearn for such prize he never really thought of winning. " your acting weird" Luca slapped Norton on the back as they head towards lunch time table place. " I do realized it too" victor added as he had his pet dog follow him not long behind them " what do you mean? I just wanted that glass rose for my special someone" the leader said as they walked towards the place to rest. " which reminds me you don't have anyone special " Luca break Nortons bubble as they started screwing each other.

The king and queen was on their own lunch table as they avoided talking to each other, there were few nobles joining them for lunch but y/n never wanted to start conversing with anyone of them and with that she just played with her red wine as she observed the people around her. Not long her eyes landed on a woman who has been eyeing the king from her own chair, Vera the daughter of the marquis Nair. She had her eyes on the king as she was sipping her own glass of wine not long Vera's eyes landed on the queen and with a smirk she taunt y/n. y/n didn't care and decided to avoid the woman and with that the second round of event started.

y/n was back to her seat once again, this event was making her feel uneasy she started feeling that something is bound to happened today and there the even proceeded. The event was moving smoothly, y/n started to question her hunch she decided to drop of the cautions thinking as she started to enjoyed the event. After the last game of the soldier the silver squad was again at the top and with that Norton was the one who won the glass rose.

Aesop handed the glass rose to Norton who was smiling ear to ear, everyone in the field was waiting to who will Norton offer the glass rose. Every woman's dream was to receive it, a sign of high adoration and honor for any woman who will receive it. Norton slowly stand up from his kneeling position as all eyes follow his movement, then y/ns eyes widen as Norton stand in front of her with a smile on his face Norton offered the glass rose to y/n. All eyes stared wide eyes, the glass rose may be offered to someone you loved or you adored, but offering it to the queen was also honorable.

" for you your royal highness" Norton spoke few words, Aesops eyes darken as he realized what is happening he don't want to admit it but the bubbling emotion in his eyes was livid, right at that moment he knew this is what they called anger. He didn't participate in the event for he know his position will prevent the soldiers to play fair and he didn't actually thought that there would be someone who will be brave enough to offer the glass rose to the queen.

" thank you" her words was warm, Aesops eyes turned to y/n he cannot believe that his empress would accept the gift other than him? The glass rose holds a very honorable position for anyone who will received it and yet the queen/ empress never needed it but why was she accepting it?. Norton seems to be very please as y/n accepted the gift and with the he bow to her before walking back to his squad. y/n eyed the glass rose as she smiled never in her life she thought that she will received such gift.
