y/n continue to run, she didn't care where to and how far she just wanted to run and disappear before she can even think of more things she abruptly bump into something. Before she can even hit the ground a strong delicate arms hoeld her " my cherrie be careful" an accent she never heard was livid, his crystal blue eyes shines like diamonds and his hair sparkle like the stars. The unknown man slowly help he into her feet as her face avoided his eyes " I am sorry It's my fault" he slowly bow " no it was my fault" she answer him. The sudden sound of her voice made him look at her, he slowly bow to her offering his hand " My name is joseph from the country of Nuvier, it would be my greatest honor to know the beautiful woman in front of me" he said.

" I am y/n the queen of this country" her introduction was short but it was concise, Joseph nodded as he slowly kissed the back of her hand " the pleasure is my our highness" he added but before he can even add more words into his plan, Eli came running towards them.

" your highness| eli started off, Joseph recognized the male in instant and when Eli turned to look at the male beside the woman his eyes smile a bit. " Hello there, it was nice to see you sir Joseph" Eli called joseph in a timely manner and the said male seem to be please by the acknowledgement. He bow a bit and smiled at the new face " it was also my pleasure to meet you sir Eli" and with that Joseph softly turn to y/n.

" I am afraid my time is up I will leave for the time being until them my queen" and with those final words he gently took hold of the women's hand and gave it a soft and yearning peck. A sign of respect Joseph smile once more before turning of his heel and walking back inside the halls.

Eli looked at the woman with weary eyes "your highness I am sorry for what happened" he said but y/n didn't even want to talk about it. Her pride was high and so the thought of being humiliated in a public ball made her sad and angry but she didn't pin point the blame to anyone. If she will be pointing whose fault it is then that answer was cleared than any day light sun. Y/n smiled at him a bit before calling until the male " it wasn't your fault Eli, I did accept your invitation so it's not yours to burden with" she said, Eli looked at her with pain expression how can she endure much as this in her first month of working as the royal queen.

" let me" his mouth open but he closes it again, y/n notice that he was trying to say something but ended up not saying it and with confident nod she asked him to continue " let me stay by your side" Eli said with bravery in his heart, it can be consider traitor against the imperial family, to seek honor and attention from the queen of the empire and yet Eli was restless he wanted this woman to be free and to be happy.

y/n didn't actually understand his wordings, but she felt that he will be a very good friend to her and with that in mind she smile bashfully before nodding in excitement. Eli had never seen anyone who glow like the moon while doing so and with that he knows this woman captured her heart like no other.

It has been two months since the faithful ball event, it was no rumor that the queen suffer big occasional problem in having that humiliation but y/n decided to focus into her work and to not pay attention to anything that is circling the palace. The light sound of tapping woke her up from her working process, her head turned to the window and with that her smile brightens the familiar owl sat on the ledge of the window balcony she hurriedly opened the window as she let the fluffy creature in. Brook who happened to grow attaches to her gives her soft hoot of encouragement before she offer he claw. y/n eyed the claw as she recognized a letter in the birds leg and with a swift hand she took the note.
