Silence surrounded the two as they walked yet they found comfort in each other's presence.

"You're like my guardian angel- always there to protect and fight for me" Jaemin said, looking at her as he slid his hand under hers, intervening their fingers.
"About Miri, I don't like her- I never did. I was forced, we did not kiss that night. She did that because she knew you were watching. Sorry" Jaemin said and Jihae nodded, realizing she shouldn't have ignored him the past one week.

After a few minutes of walk they were finally nearing the peak.
"What took you so long?!" Dahee ran towards the two and Jihae immediately let go off his hand, moving a few steps away from him.
"The view from here is beautiful" She said, dragging the girl along with her.

Standing at the cliff, everyone stared in awe at the view from the peak.
She stood atop the rocky surface and her eyes wandering around the site. Clouds swirled around her in an icy greeting, under the moonlight, it felt serene and calm.
Her eyes began to water as a wind whipped the hair across her face. When she looked down at the dizzying drop, nothing met her gaze but flat clouds, hiding the treasure of their landscape below.

"I told you all it would be worth it, didn't I?" Mr. Jung said and everyone agreed.
Indeed, the hiking was worth it.
"Let's go, have some food, you all must be hungry" Mr. Jung exited the area, walking towards the residing building where they had to stay for the night.

"Why were you two late?" Renjun asked pointing at Jihae and Jaemin.
"Huh? We got lost..?" Jihae said, unsure of her own answer.
"Then why didn't you call any of us?" Donghyuck asked, raising a brow.
"We found our way back..?" Jaemin replied and the two shared a look knowing it was a stupid excuse, hoping they would believe them.

The two nodded, taking their answer except Dahee- who stared at the two for a few seconds, unconvinced with their reply but just shrugged it off.

The sound of Jihae's phone vibrating with continuous notifications made her groan as she shuffled on her bed.
"Ji check your phone, it's fucking annoying" Dahee said before going back to sleep.

Grabbing her phone, she rubbed her blurry eyes, vision more clear as she unlocked her phone and tapped on her messages.

Jihae stood up walking to the washroom to freshen up and exited the room quietly in order to not disturb the two.
"Where are you going?" Dahee asked, still half asleep.
"Out, I need some air" With that, she closed the door behind her, leaving the two to sleep and made her way to the rooftop.

Hugging her hands to her body, she shuddered at the freezing cold breeze brushing her, the place barely visible cause of the surrounding mist.
She squint her eyes, blinking a few times in order to focus on the silhouette in front.
Realizing it was Jaemin she walked towards him. He was wearing all black- sweatshirt with joggers and a pair of black and white vans, his hands in his pocket as he stared at the view in front.

"Good morning Jaem" She said, standing next to him.
"You too Angel" He said, smiling as he looked down at the girl.
"You look cute" He said- eyes ranking over the girl's pajamas with printed koalas all over. His comment made her smile.

"How long have you been here?" She diverted the topic feeling his intense gaze on her.
"Not long ago" He replied looking at the view in front and back at her.
Noticing she was feeling cold he took a few steps behind her and hugged her from the back, startling the girl- his hands around her waist and her hands on his.

"It should feel warm now" He said as he placed his chin on shoulder as the two looked front.
"It does" She replied giving a small nod, her face flushed and her heart pounding like hell- feeling contented.
Staying in the same position the two watched the blue sky.

Hearing whispers- the two broke their hug, looking around.
"I told you two to shut up. Now look they saw us!" Dahee stomped her feet walking towards the two who were watching the three, confused by their presence.
"Hey it's not my fault" Renjun said, running behind Dahee and Donghyuck followed suit- all the three now standing in front of Jihae and Jaemin.

"I knew something was going on between you two..." Dahee began pointing at the two who shared a look before look at the three.
"Spill the tea" Donghyuck said with a smug grin plastered on his face.
"We're dating" Jaemin let out and the three looked at each other before screams filled the area.

"Guys shut up, everyone is probably asleep" Jihae said bringing them to a stop.
"Since when?"
"How?"
"Who confessed first?"
"Don't tell me it was in those woods last night??"
"Did you kiss already?"

Jaemin chuckled at the last question and Jihae rolled her eyes.
"Guys.. look at that" Jihae said pointing towards their front.
All of them stood by the railing as they watched the sunrise- astonished.
Renjun and Dahee linked their arms together, Jaemin and Jihae intervened their hands and Donghyuck leaned his hands against the railing as they watched it.

Mellow blues and pinks blurred together in a silver mist to create another gorgeous scene. Sunlight filled the sky, pure scattered light; its hue ambitiously illuminating each crevice of the land. Sparrows chirped an explicit background melody.
Bright streaks of red, pink, and orange slowly overcame the dark blue and purple of the twilight sky. The sky resembled a prism; all the colors blended perfectly into each other.

The sun itself was just peeking out of the horizon, and its brilliant rays already shined brightly and began to warm the air.
"I love you my Angel" Jaemin whispered in her ears, eyes not leaving her- staring into her side profile.
"I love you too Jaemin" She replied, looking up at him.

His face sun kissed by the warmth and rays of the rising sun, accentuating his features- she couldn't help but stare at him, he looked ethereal in her eyes.
It was a heartwarming sight- especially watching it together with the loved ones next to them.
