Knocking on the door, Jihae waited outside. Her mother opened the door and walked inside without sparing the girl a look- knowing her mother well, she could sense that she was angry. Jihae silently walked to her room, closing the door behind her.
Changing into her pajamas, she exited her room. "Mom.." She called out, knocking on her room door. "What?" She opened the door, looking away. "I'm sorry" Jihae said making her turn to face her.
"No Jihae, you took it too far" She said walking to sit down on the couch and Jihae sat beside her. "I'm sorry, I was just angry. Mom, I don't like Jeno, especially after everything he did. Her company sales are dropping, she just wants our support that's why she planned the wedding next month. Please mom, call the wedding off and cut ties with their company- you've disliked her ever since the start anyways. Our company is doing great, much better than theirs. You were in my position once too right? Please try understanding my feelings mom" Jihae said, linking her arm with her mother's, her head leaning on her shoulder as she spoke.
Her mother remained silent for a few seconds before she spoke. "Fine Jihae, I'll think about it" Jihae looked up at her with a smile, surprised. "Really? Thank you mom" She hugged her, earning her mother to smile and hug her back.

"It worked Jaem. My mom said she'll think about it" Jihae smiled at him, clapping her hands in the air, excitedly. He returned her a smile as the two entered the classroom.
After everyone settled down the teacher entered in and everyone diverted their attention to him. "Important announcement. You have your mid-terms starting next week, prepare well. If the class average is above 70%, you'll have your yearly excursion the successive week alright?" Mr. Kim said and everyone nodded in agreement. "Good luck" With that he left the room. The first class was math so Mr. Jung was already in the classroom.
"I'm your homeroom teacher from now on" Mr. Jung flashed everyone a smile- Jihae, Renjun and Donghyuck groaned upon hearing it. "I'm not going take my class for today. The class president position is vacant so we'll spend this hour, electing one for our Class 2 alright?" He said and everyone nodded.
"Why's he behaving so strangely?" Renjun whispered. "Maybe he's trying to play a good role as our homeroom teacher? I don't know.." Donghyuck shrugged.
"I would suggest it to be..... Na Jaemin" Mr. Jung said and the class remained silent. "I agree, sir" Jihae raised her hand. "Yes sir" Donghyuck raised his hand. "Me too" Renjun and Dahee raised their hands as well and soon most of the class agreed to make Jaemin the Class President.
"Majority agreed, so Na Jaemin is our new Class President" Mr. Jung concluded and everyone clapped and cheered for the boy- he was awkwardly sitting there, flustered by the sudden attention on him. "Mid terms start next week so Jaemin make sure everyone studying in their free time cause I don't want my class to miss the excursion got it?" Mr. Jung said.
"I'm giving you time to do any subject you want, just keep it low" He added, sitting down in his chair, going through the papers on his desk. Jihae, Donghyuck and Renjun shared a look, shocked to see the sudden change in his behavior.
