Your heart beat so fast that you swear you will faint any moment, you smiled at him as you slowly eyed your food. " you look amazing too" you spoke enough for him to speak, he smirk as he smiled widely at you. " only for you babe" he was fast to return a comeback with that breakfast flow like usual.

After breakfast Emily called you out " y/n don't forget you are in the match after breakfast okay" she hurriedly tried to catch up with you as William was holding your hand. She smiled at you as William nodded " I am in the same match so don't worry I'll save you princess" he beamed at you, Emily just chuckled at how sweet William was to you after this she slowly said her good bye and leaving you and William alone.

" uhhhh finally found you" he said deviously as he placed you on the rocket chair eyeing your trembling form, he really enjoyed it when you look vulnerable you are the best toy he could ask for. Not long he was stun from behind as William rescued you from the chair he hurriedly took your hand as he drag you out from there. Not long you heard the familiar skill wu chang use, he uses the bell which made you and William stun for few seconds.

Before he can hit you, William shielded you in the process; you heard another cipher pop as you eyed William on the floor. " get out of here" William told you, you hurried took his hand as you didn't budge at leaving him you were so tired being wu changes play thing and from there you know well that you don't want William to be always be hurt by protecting you.

You don't want William to always risk his life for you, in the last few months of playing matches with him he always gain too much hits and wounds because he was trying to protect you, in the end he always get sent back in the manor because you are too afraid to fight for yourself but right now you wanted that to change, Black scared you the most but at this moment you no longer wanted to be scared.

He enjoyed seeing your eyes shatter in fear but now he cannot see the fear in your pupils where in fact you were more determined than ever. " you are not fun" he said as he throw the umbrella changing to Xie Bian.

When Xie saw you he bowed and pat your heard " sorry about my brother we will surrender this match" he said as he slowly fade away.

" William are you okay?" you asked him as you slowly help him up to sit, he looked at you he was smiling despite few bloods streak on his face " y/n. you are amazing" he said sincerely as he slowly pulled you closer to a hug there you felt all your fear and pain together, your tears pour as you cried hard.

" I was so scared" you cried in his arm, he hmmm in acknowledgement as he gently hugged you, you were petrified facing Wu Chang but nothing scare you more than the thought of losing William in the match. " you did well my love" William usher you as he kept hugging you.

Not long enough all survivors returned to the manor.

Time skip || A knock was heard in Williams door, it was already night time and he just finished patching up his wounds and taking a short bath. He slowly opened the door seeing y/n there, he smiled at her as she slowly eyed him " can I stay for the night again?" she was shy to asked, William only pulled her inside as he hugged her in the process. " of course" he gently laid his lover on the bed as the two of them stare at each other's eyes.

" y/n you are amazing earlier," he said, y/n slowly reached for his face as her thumb rub gently on his cheeks. " I didn't want to lose you there, I wanted to protect you" she said with a visible pink hue on her cheeks, William felt in a cloud nine hearing her say those words made his heard pound so hard. He was deeply in love with this woman and hearing that she was willing to risk her life to him made him whole. " I really love you so much" he said as he slowly pulled her closer till their lips touch.
