Chapter 55: Scott

Start from the beginning

I see Kirstie jump up and run. I follow her. Once in the room, I see a man that I can only assume was Jeremy. He comes forward and smacks her across the face. She doesn't make a sound, but she does hold her face. When she pulls her hand away, there's a huge red welt.

I feel nothing but Kirstie's fear and my own rage.

"Why wasn't this done like I told you?" He points to a pile of neatly folded laundry. He grabs her hair and throws her to the floor.

I feel sick, knowing what's going to happen. Kirstie doesn't make a single sound.

Jeremy rips open her shirt and bra, leaving her exposed. I try to look away, but I can't seem to.

He then pulls of her pants, but leaves her underwear. She is already littered with bruises and cuts and scrapes.

He rips off her underwear, exposing her, as he shoves a hand inside of her. I fight the urge to both simultaneously scream and throw up. He keeps going. Its like I can feel her body's reaction. The tightness at the bottom of your stomach.

I can see it in her face that she hates every moment of this. Suddenly, I feel the tension in my body snap and heat rushes throughout my body, knocking me to my knees. It hurts. I hate it. She hates it.

Once she's done, he takes his fingers out, pulls down his pants, and shoves himself inside of her.

Now, she screams and Jeremy slaps her across the face. "Shut up and tell me you like it!" He yelled before putting a hand around her neck.

I can feel the pressure, and it hurts. I can't breathe. I start to feel that tightness again as he speeds up.

He leaned forward and did his best to shove his tongue into her mouth.

He squeezed her neck. Cutting of the oxygen to both of our heads. "TELL ME!!!" he roared.

She sobbed. "I-I li-like it. I like it, daddy!" She cried.

I almost puke. He forced her to call him daddy? That's disgusting.

The tension breaks again and I'm on my side, curled in on myself, screaming in pain. He finishes and pulls out. He smacks her between the legs, causing her to cry out.

He growls and does it again. This time, I cry out because I can feel how sensitive she is. He walks away and shuts the door.

The scene shifts.

Kirstie is sitting in the bathroom, holding a familiarly shaped white stick with tears in her eyes.

Positive.

She puts a hand to her belly and rubs it tenderly. I can feel both her fear and her love for the child inside of her.

I hear her speak. "Okay then." She sniffles and looks down at her flat stomach. "I'm going to keep you safe. I'll do everything I can. I promise you, little one." I feel the warmth I'm her heart spread as she puts every ounce of her power into those words.

It shifts again.

This time, I see her with a small little bump. She's making food. Once shes finished, she makes the plates and gets the rest of the pack.

They all sit down and start to eat. Kirstie doesn't. She sits next to Jeremy. Looking at the table, where he told her to look. She doesn't cry, she doesn't move, but I suddenly feel her urge to use the bathroom. But she knows she can't.

I see Jeremy set a bread crust in front of her, but she doesn't move even though the sight made her mouth water.

"Go ahead." Jeremy says. She quickly takes it and stuffs it in her mouth. "Good girl." He pets her. Its like he wasn't taking into consideration the fact she was carrying his child.

When everyone was finished, they all sort of threw their plates at her. Some of them still had food on them.
Some of it winds up on the floor.

"Pick it up." Jeremy says.

"Yes, master." She said. I could tell she knew this wasn't going to end well. She kneels down and starts to pick up the pieces of food.

He hits her. "Faster!" He yelled.

I guess she wasn't cleaning it fast enough because he grabbed a handful of her hair and threw her. I gasp as I thought she landed on her stomach. She didn't. I sigh.

My relief is quickly replaced by fear as Jeremy gets up. He pulls her to her feet by her hair. She screams out and he tightens his grip. "You'll do this right next time, won't you?"

"Yes. Yes, sir." She whimpers out.

"Good girl." He said, then threw her to the ground again. Hard. This time, she did land on her stomach.

I feel the pain as she slowly tries to get up. I watch as blood starts soaking through her jeans. I hear her let out a quiet sob as she realizes what's happening.

"I'm sorry." She whispers and the scene shifts.

We're back at the hospital. She's laying there, wrapped around me, sleeping peacefully. I see her shift as if she was in pain. Then the sheets turn red.

Her eyes widen and fill with tears as she's trying to wake me up.

~~~~end~~~~
I sit up way to fast and accidentally headbutt Avi. "Ouch. Sorry." I open my eyes and see he is basically in tears. "Kirstie?" He nods and I run.
I see her sitting on the floor crying. I instantly go to her and gather her in my arms.
"Its okay. I'm right here. I'm right here sweetie. I got you." I whisper in her ear. She sobs loudly.
I feel my heart break. I don't even try to stop the tears that fall on my face, nor do I care that they do. Kirstie needs me more right now than my tears do.
"Scott..." She whimpers.
"I'm right here. I'm right here, baby." I say. I feel her relax a little bit as she calms down. Eventually, she falls asleep again.
From now on, if I ever see Jeremy, I'm killing him. No question. A monster like that doesn't deserve to live.
I'll find you. I think to myself. I'll find you, and I'll kill you.
He'll wish he had never laid a finger on her. Ever.
I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry😭😭😭. This broke my friggen heart😭😭😭
Well, I at least hope y'all enjoyed it. I dont even wanna talk about the damage my heart has endured.
Lemme know what ya think.
Stay happy, stay healthy
