IDV | Aesop Carl X Reader (A shoulder to cry on)

" did you tried looking around the Library or the Garden or his room?" the sweet bubbly gardener voice out her thoughts, you nodded since you tried going all around the place just to find him and yet you failed to see the familiar silver head. You were growing concern about him, he wasn't used being said stupid or useless and he tried his best to build his confidence only to be trampled down by one mistake.

" I should go around looking around the other place" you said as you eyed the door, Emily pat your shoulder gently as she smiled at you " okay, always take care okay?" she pat you once again, slowly walking out the door you eyed the two once last time before walking out the place.

Upon your walk you saw a familiar face, Victor was fixing something his bag as you noticed him " Victor Hello can I ask you something?" the blonde raise his head meeting your eyes, his trusted dog follow just beside him with a small smile you pet the dogs head as it bark in delight.

" what is it y/n?" he asked you hearing his soft and gentle tone, you slowly stood up as you faced him the certain mood and look of concern still plastered your face " is something wrong??" Victor can read you like an open book, because beside Emily and Ema he was one of the few who knows about your feelings towards the Embalmer.

" have you seen Aesop?" with the mention of the familiar name his eyes widen, he slowly turned to the other side as he avoided your eyes and just like that you know fully well he knows something. " Victor you know you cannot lie to me? Have you see Aesop?" you called again as he slowly eyed you, his shining orbs tremble as he eyed you with curiosity.

" you know where is he right? " you silence as you slowly took his hand " you never lied to me and you can't lie to me" with that the postman only sigh as he hold your hand " I don't plan to lie my dear it's just he asked me he needed some time for himself" with the new found information you smiled a bit knowing that you had a lead where to find him.

" victor please" you asked him again he gentle pat your head with one of his free hand as he gradually smiled at you " okay I know you can help him anyway " he grinned at you as you eyed him with loving eyes " he was in the music room in the back of the library place" he pause as he slowly let go of your hand.

" a music room? I never thought there was one?" you question as he only nodded " only few people knows about it so please keep it a secret my dear" with that you nodded as you slowly walked towards the certain room, Victor only eyed your back as he sigh with a gentle whistle Wick started walking beside him again as they go somewhere to rest.

When you arrived in the library you can hear soft tone around the place, turning your head around you tried to find the source of the music you were hearing. The sound of a piano you were sure it was a piano, you steadily walked your way as you eyed the place trying to find a certain door Victor had explained. When you turned into one of the sharp corner on the back part of the library you found a door with gold and black details.

" found it" you whisper as you walked your way towards the door, as you slowly gets closer the sound of the piano slowly filled the place upon reaching the door your hand automatically hold the knob as you turned it. When you pushed the door opened the sun rays illuminates the whole room, the whole room was painted with plain white paint one. As you slowly entered the room you noticed that it was fairly large enough for few people.

You slipped inside as you eyed the room before your eyes landed on someone on the piano place, his fingers dances in the black and white keys gently like he was trying to send someone to sleep. Your steps echoes the place but the person playing in the piano doesn't seem to hear the resounding person.

When you reached close enough near the piano, you saw the face you've been trying to find sine the last few hours his eyes closes as his hands gently move on each different keys. The music he was creating feels really heavy, sad, lonely and it somehow made you feel really hurt upon hearing his tones. You just decided to stand there as you watch him play the moving notes and moving tiles and the soft rays of light made you feel calm, relax and comfortable.

When Aesop touch his last key he momentarily opened his eyes as he sigh deeply, your sudden breathing scared him " y/n?!!!" he asked you with alarm in his voice, you only looked at him as he gently look down the pain from earlier situation was still bothering him and upon seeing this you gently pat his head making him look at you with dazed.

" Aesop I've been looking for you all around the place" you said as he eyed you, he felt bad making you go through such trouble finding him he was about to stand when you spoke again " thank god you are fine" and with a smile his heart slowly beats faster. He was sure it wasn't just friendship he wanted more and yet he was not someone who is brave enough to confess.

" why are you looking for a no body and useless person like me?" the tone in his voice clearly shows how hurt he was and with a deep breathe you nodded " because I wanted to be there for you" you pause as his eyes slowly turned to you again " always" with a smile you gently opened your arms signaling that you will be giving him a hug.

He didn't waste any more second before standing from his seat hugging you in the process, he needed this the most someone who will make him safe someone who will make him secured and you are that person. His hand rested on your back side as he buried his face on your neck the soft movement of your hand on his back is enough to make him realized that you truly care about him and with that the tears he had kept all this time slowly drapes from his crystal gray eyes.

" I am sorry" he started as his tears continue to flow like fountain, you just stood there hugging him softly as you whispers good words on his as he tremble like a child in your arms. " I am here" and with that he slowly cried his heart out to you.

Time skip | " are you feeling okay now?" you asked him as you two sat on the piano chair together, he only nodded in agreeing with your question statement, he slowly eyed you as he kept his hand on yours while one of your hand was swiftly and gently petting his head. " I was worried when I cannot find you anywhere" you sadly smiled at him feeling his hands grip tightening on yours.

" y/n I wanted to tell you something" he took a deep breath and for once he gained the courage to finally confess, he eyed you lovingly as you waited for him to speak " I like you, ever since" with the sudden words from his mouth your eyes widen as you continue to eye him. Being silent for few second his heart sunk maybe confessing was not the right thing to do, he then slowly pulled his hand from yours but it wasn't long when you grab it him back.

" Aesop you didn't wait for my answer" he looked at you with wide eyes, he slowly turned fully to you as one of your hand slowly hook the back of his neck pulling him closer to you before closing your eyes mooring a sweet, innocent kiss on his lips. Wide eye he looked at you but slowly his eye closes on its own as he savor the sweet moment you two shared.

After this you pulled away eyeing his closed his, you gently hold his cheek as you smile at him his eyes slowly flutter open realizing what happened " I like you too" with that his face flush red as his tears slowly form again " Aesop you weren't supposed to cry" you smiled at him as you pulled him for a sweet hug he returned your hug with sweetness as you two stay there for a while, enjoying the sweet moment.
