" what are you doing here popo?" the girl sadly smiled at the creature as the bird only eyed her with concern, he hated it when people look at her and pity her but what can she do? The situation right now was something obviously will make her pitiful but she wanted to overcome it and even so it hurts her so much if Eli really cannot remember her she decided to let him go. " I guess you miss hanging out here?" you smiled at you gently pat the birds head, it only hoot in response as if it understand what you were saying.

" you used to stay here all the time since Eli spend most of his time here too" with that your tears slowly falls, the bird flew closer to you as it nuzzle closer to your face " popo I guess I won't be there for you anymore" with that you slowly cried.

Aesop was standing just outside your door, holding a tray of food he sigh hearing you crying like this hurts him and he wanted to make it right. He wanted to be the one to make you smile and if Eli can no longer do that decided that it will be him who will make you smile once again.

Time skip| Morning | you slowly opened your door upon opening you were shocked to see Aesop there " good morning" he shyly called out which made you smile a bit " good morning" with that he accompanied you to the dining hall where breakfast was being served. When Eli arrived in the dining hall he notice you and Aesop talking something inside his chest hurts, something he cannot understand but something inside him is making him uneasy when he saw you and Eli talking.

He push the thought aside in his mind he still have a fiancée waiting for him to get back and with that in his mind he tried his best not care or to even look at you. You smiled at Aesop as he told you something funny, Eli tried his best not to look at you and with that goal in his mind he slowly grow more apart from you. You on the other hand slowly grow tired trying to reach him and with that situation between both of you two, the two lovers once known deeply inlove slowly faded into being strangers.

Days turns to weeks and you two tried your best to avoid each other, with the pain in your chest you suck all the courage to move on. You cannot force the memory to come back to him and you decided to finally stand on your own to decide what will make you happy and what things can make you happy.

Aesop supported you with his all, but you two had a clear talk that you are not ready to love again and he respected that with his all at the same time he never falter in loving you even though as a friend. Eli eyed you from the chair he was sitting, you were in the match with him and he was somehow looking forward for it.

It's been weeks he last saw you, he cannot pin point it but he rarely see you even inside the manor its like you were ignoring him hard. The room slowly dims as you were transported in the map, Eli did his best to check the nearest cipher and when he found one he started decoding. You on the other hand did the same, you were almost done with your cipher when your heart started glowing purple.

" the hunter is near me" you shouted in your earpiece, the sound of panic made Eli's chest tighten something inside him wanted to run to you, protect you make sure you are fine and even in this kind of moment he cannot focus because you were there. Jack was the hunter in today's match and so he started running after you, before he can even hit you popo flew on your back protecting you.

When Jack successfully hit the owl, popo flew back to Eli you tried your best to keep up with running. Two more cipher pop 2 more and you will be free in this match. You were thinking way away and didn't notice Jack swinging his claws are you but before it can even reach you, you heard a groan behind you turning around you saw Eli protecting you. Your eyes widen as you took his hand as you activated your skills ( it will make you and the person you are rescuing invisible for 20 seconds).

You two settle down on top of the ship wreck " why did you do that?" Eli eyed you with shock, instead of thank you he gets some nagging and all but he didn't feel angry towards you. He also cannot understand it why he did that, why he shielded you and why when he heard your panic voice something inside him made him realized that whatever happens he needed to protect you.
