Emily arrived at the door seeing you and Eli on the floor " oh my gosh" she speedily help you and Eli, you returned Eli back to his room as he never wanted to let you go " y/n please don't be with him anymore" he cried as he hugged you " please ~~!"" he pleaded you, your heart pains so much for them, the ache they all endure in this place is something you never wanted for them. You strained your best to calm him down, successfully calming the said boy after few minutes, you went your way to find joseph to have a talk, you no longer can take this all.

Shortly after you were in his room again, " if you don't have anything to say please leave" the doctor said making you scared to push through to his thoughts. " again leave" he said with harsh voice, " joseph, please stop hurting them" you said above murmur and just like that he slam the paper works on the table as he made his way near you. " so now your begging me to not hurt them?? Y/N??? are you out of your mind???" he looked at you " those are mentally ill people they kill people and they hurt others," he eyed you with annoyance " they will hurt you" he said.

" joseph please listen to me, they will not hurt anyone , I've been with them for the last four months and I can testify they will not injured anyone if you can please stop with the punishment sessions you've been doing" you said this time brasher than earlier, he eyed you with disappointment " you" he breath our " do whatever you want" he said, as he turned away from you " Joseph please" you were about to gently reach him when he spoke " LEAVE I wanted to be alone" with that you withdrew your hand from him as you made your way out.

On your way you hear a small group of doctors talking " Doctor Desaulnier is really amazing he had already approved the lethal injection for the specific patience" one said " finally those crazy people will now be gone for good" your eyes widen when you heard those words from them " do you know the specific list?" one added " well I know for sure that includes Aesop Carl, Ema Woods, Eli Clark," as the doctor continues on, hearing those words you tremble In fear in pain and in resentment. " when will they do it??" one inquired, " the injections might arrive tomorrow night so the next day? They started laughing maniacally at the thought; you slowly made your way to the nurse ward trying to find your trusted friend Emily.

Emi: are you sure about this y/n this is dangerous?" the nurse asked in concern, you only nodded no longer caring about your own safety you don't know if your conscience will let you be at peace if you will let those dearly loved patience die here.

y/n: there is a manor in this location" you pause with a sad smile " tell them it was me who sent you, my grandfather runs the place I am sure he will take you in" you beamed unhappily at her " just, I just wanted them to live free" you told her, she lightly took hold of your hand she nodded " please take care, here is a key for one of the facility vehicle just save them, this is the least I can do" you told her, she understand well for she knows how doctors treat the patients here, " what about you?" Emily asked you, you smiled sadly at her as she understand you, she hugged you one last time as she started walking to find the specific inmates she needed to rescue.

You took a deep breath as you walked your way towards Joseph's office; you need to keep him still until they escape from this horrible pleace. " joseph I need to talk to you" with a grunt he still opened the door " please" you begged him once last time " please Joseph" his anger didn't diminish, the thought of you choosing or protecting those mentally ill people angers him like nothing else. " Y/N if you will just give me a talk like earlier please leave me" he said with anger vivid in his voice, you grabbed his hand in attempt to make him listen one last time, when he swat you away you run towards him to a hug. He was frantic, angry in rage and you know well you cannot calm him right now.

Joseph was so angry that he push you hard enough for you to fall, you fall on one of the table place with his stuff with a loud thud he turned to you only to see that you had blood on your right arm, a weary smile on your face shows how much pain you were into right now. " joseph" you expressed in pain, he hurried took you to his arms only to realized that it was not a simple thud you landed. " joseph I am cold" you told him, a small needle was push into one of your arms, the color of the liquid dripping from the needle is enough to make Joseph look in fear. The needle that punches your skin was a poison needle the same lethal injection that was delivered for the inmates.

He gently hugged you pulling the needle from your arm, you groan in pain as you tried your best to stay awake " please joseph stop this" you called out to him with weak voice and trembling body he hold you tight " y/n don' please" he hugged you tight close to his body "I.. I I should have helped you out here I am sorry" he looked at you with great sadness " please stay awake y/n, I'll call the ambulance we will go" he said tears flowing out his eyes as he eyed your limping body.

You gently hold his face as you bitterly smiled at him " I wish we had a chance" you smiled to him one last time until your hand wilted the last life in your body, your hand slowly falls back down to your side as you close your eyes, Joseph cried in sadness in rage in anger all emotions is swirling inside him now, Tt was all his fault and yet he failed to protect you. " y/n please don't leave me" he cried hugging your body. Then the alarm sound, the inmates runs havoc around the place as they tried to escape the place.

He stayed there for few minutes, tears of sadness cascade his broken soul he wanted only you, planned everything for you and yet you were taken away because of his selfishness. He hated it, he hates himself, and he slowly lifts you up back to the bed as he lay you down like before. He hugged you just like before but this time he can't hear your soft humming and can't feel your gentle touches he has lost it all, he had lost himself.

Time Skip Two weeks

Emily eyed the small group of patience she managed to save, Aesop was reading a book while Eli was observing the flowers the others were busy with stuff, soon an old man made its way towards her, he looked at her with a sad smile " I never question her" he pause as Emily waited him to continue "ever since she was a child I never really questioned her and I will not question her and where she is now" the old man looked at Emily who only nodded understanding what he just said. Emily crumpled the piece of newspaper she was reading earlier, the headline shows " Asylum Facility burn into Ashes, No survivor recorded" she bitterly smiled at the small group of people ' thank you y/n"
