But your eyes widen in horror when you didn't see a familiar man in the bush what not a small wolf revealed himself in front of you, you tried to back away from the wild animal you took hold of your knife just in case you will need it. The wolf slowly made his way towards you before it can pounce you; a big owl flew its way shielding you. You were in utter shock what is happening you took the time to run far enough to safety. You saw how the Owl with sharp claws attack the wolf, The wolf and the owl took a very quiet while fighting. You also noticed that the owl was bigger than usual owls, you ponder how big it was if you can just go near it.

The battle ended when the owl successfully injured the wolfs eyes, when this happened the owl flaps down on the ground you hurriedly took the chance to go and save it. Upon further notice, you recognized the colors of the feathers light brown with silver your eyes widen. The owl was badly hurt, few cuts on its body and few feathers flew down the ground.

" og my gosh" you slowly kneel down, you were scared to touch it for you fear you will hurt it more. The owls eyes show glimmers of happiness seeing you there. You slowly took of your jacket that hangs around your waist and put it on his as you race back to your house to get it treated.

The owl was really bigger up close, he was almost as half of your body or even bigger your mind race as to why it was this big but decided to keep it at bay. It was already 7 when you realized about the meeting with Eli. You groan as you walked back and forth towards your room, you facepalm as you looked at the owl on the table. It tilts it head sideway as you eyed it.

" ugghhhh I forgot about Eli, but he did promise that I'll see my pet" you turned to the owl " which is now with me" you smiled as you pet the owls head " do you know Eli" you asked the feathery animal, not actually waiting for an answer. But to your shock it spoke " It's me y/n" you stood there dumbfounded by what you heard " what?" you slapped yourself as you tried to wake yourself up in this vivid dream " I must be dreaming the owl spoke" you eyed it.

The owl jump to your bed, as a blinding light flashes in front of your eyes, you cover your eyes from the sudden bright light when you opened them you saw a familiar figure sitting on your bed. Not only that he was naked your face heats up as you turned around " ELI???" you asked in confusion " how?? Are you the owl?? That's impossible" you stutter, you slowly turned to him thankfully he took the blanket and wrap it around his waist.

" it is really me y/n, that is the reason why I told you I can bring the owl to you, because it's me? He slowly took hold of your shoulder as he fully pulled you to face him, you eyed him he has the brightest color of blue eyes. Now that you now he was your pet, you slowly recognized the resemblance. You sigh as you slowly hugged him " this is so unreal" you commented, he only nodded as he hugged you " welcome back" he said with that you looked at him " I've waited for you to come back" he said " I am sorry, I wasn't able to come back" you spoke sadly, he only smiled at you as he peck your head " no need to worry you're here now" he smiled and so did you.

You two grew closer to each other, you spent whole summer knowing about him and his ancient species. He might be one of those few line age of half bird and half human in his generation and he was thankful you found him before the hunters did. You never thought you will be saving one magical creature, but you were very thankful you were. You somehow fell in love with the male and he did the same. Your grandparents supported you when you introduced him to them.

The time you needed to go back to college, Eli surprises you with the decision to come with you and live with you in the city. You were happy about it, you managed to get him a job in one of the cafes near your campus, you surely am proud knowing he was popular waited in the café. In due time he was able to enroll for a semi college course which is also your secondary course. He was beyond happy, you were also happy.
