Grandpa: you take care of that little owl, so they won't be able to catch him"he smiled at you as he gently pat your head, you nodded in agreement.

Just like what your grandfather said you did well in taking care of the owl, you took the time and effort to help it grow into a healthy little bird. Today was like that day, the small owl eyed you from the table few feathers were already growing, you just finish making its food as you made your way towards him. " who's hungry?" you smiled at it as it gently opened its mouth like it understand what you were saying, the small chirping sound it makes always melts your heart.

Days turn to weeks, and you were pretty proud of yourself raising the baby owl. You stood on the porch as you whistle ever gentle you put your hand in front of you and waited for few seconds, not long a semi adult owl flew its way towards you landing safely on your arm. You smiled widely at the beautiful creature, " hello there " you smiled at you pet his head, the gentle creature just nuzzle on your touches. You notice while it was growing that his feathers were silver and black his eyes were blue which is uncommon and his wings were magnificently big.

In the span of almost 1 and half months, the gentle baby bird grew into such amazing magnificent owl. " you know you grew into such amazing bird" you smiled at the owl who hoot in response, you smiled once again but you know well that it will need to end soon. Your classes will soon start and you need to come back to resume your study, as much as you hated the thought you cannot bring the owl with you, there will be danger in the city than here and so you decided to leave him here with your grandparents.

" hey, I'll need to leave you" you sadly smiled at him, the bird understanding the sadness on your tone made his way to nuzzle your head " that's comforting, anyway you need to grow big and strong alright I will not be here for you but I am sure you can do it" you smiled "I'll see you again next summer when I had the time" you smiled, the bird only hoot in agreement.

Time skip/ your promised never happened, your parents wasn't able to bring you to your parents place the next summer and the next few summer after it. You were heartbroken wanting to know how was your little pet bird now a days but there is no point of arguing with your parents about it. You were now in college level, you didn't had the time to visit your grandparents so you decided to focus in studying.

You were on your way to your grandparent's place, since you were already college student you can go on your own to visit them. You were both excited to meet them also your dearly loved pet bird. When you arrived in the place you hugged your grandparents and started talking about life. It was already late when you finally remember to ask about the pet owl, with a sad voice your grandad told you " the next summer the owl waited for you patiently, when he noticed you weren't coming back he flew away and never came back, until now" he sadly eyed you being guilty about the loss of your pet owl.

But you decided to live with it of course you were concern about the owl but you had made sure he will grow strong and so you let it go with an open heart. It was your second day in your grandparents' side, you decided to take a stroll in the familiar forest place near your house. You hop in the log near the stream and settled down on the near side of the clear spring stream.

You enjoyed the warm sunshine in the forest, the cold yet calming spring on your feet and the ever so calming wind that swift your hair. You loved natured even after all this years you loved this kind of solo moments, the peaceful moment was halt when you heard a shuffling in the bushes alert you stood up getting one of your pocket knife on the bag your wearing. "who's there?" you shouted, the bush moves violently as you eyed it, soon a male around your ages revealed himself from the bushes.

His eyes were the vivid color of blue and his hair is somehow light brown with few silver streaks in others words this guy is breathtaking. You stood your ground as he slowly made his way towards you until he was just few steps away from you, he awkwardly turned his head away from you as you waited for him to speak. " who are you??" you asked when you noticed he won't speak, with the call of his attention he turned his head to you the eyes you never seen before feels so familiar. " who are you???" you repeat yourself, he was hesitant but decide to speak. " My name is Eli" he said with a smile you heart flutters with the small gesture " and what are you doing here?" you asked again he nodded as he eyed you. " I live around here and I was about to get some water then I saw you here" he said, sounding honest you put down your knife as you eyed him.
