IDV | Joseph Desaulniers X Reader ( A familiar feeling )

Until she reach a door that is designed heavily, it was big and very dark the moonlight makes her see few of the finest design of the door and so she slowly approach the door starting at it for few seconds. Her handed softly reach to the knob of the door as she slowly pushed the door to open. The cold gust of wind made her tremble, but she slowly made her way inside to the unknown side.

She continue to walk in the halls of the new found place, she find it still normal that she was slowly walking into the room she never seen before not that she mind this whole manor was new to her at least.

Joseph can't sleep either, his mind was replaying the dream over and over again to his dismay he finally decided to have a walk or some fresh air, in the end he decided to have a walk in the garden he suited up and pulled one of his over sleep coat just in case it was extra chilly tonight. He can't understand but something is pushing him to walk out his dark room, upon further deciding he was already on his way towards the said garden.

He slowly stride in the halls of the hunters side in deep of thinking his mind wander off somewhere, not long his attention was drawn into something. His eyes stared shock at a figure he never though he will see once again, the girl slowly walk the empty halls with her dim light lamp when she noticed a guy staring at her she stop midway and stared back at him.

Joseph can't utter a word she was the exact face of the girl in his dreams, her face shows calmness as his shows confusion " good evening" said the unknown girl taking him from his dream he step back from the said girl " I am lost can you tell me where is the kitchen??" she commented Joseph just stood there not sure what is happening. Is this a dream? Is she real? Or a dream? He was confuse " you shouldn't be here" he said which makes the girl confuse. " sorry" the girls said, joseph took a deep breathe before walking towards he, she really is the same face he saw in his dreams.

" I'll walk you back" he said, the girl only nodded in agreement, the two reach the door once again and when the girl passed by she looked at joseph with a confuse eyes " aren't you going?" she asked the photographer only shook his head " good night, mon amour" he said and then everything softly turns black.

y/n woke up in her bed the next day, she was not sure if what happened yesterday night was a dream or was it just her imagination. That person she saw was really familiar, familiar that even the look on his eyes makes her heart hurts so much. She decided to just forget what happened and continue with her everyday life.

Time skip

Today will be her first match and she was excited for it, the focus she had in her mind was to perfect the cipher and not get caught by the hunter, she will be playing with Naib, Aesop and Emily they promised her to protect her at all cost since this was her first match. The four sit there in the long table waiting for the match to start, the room slowly fades to black and the match already started.

y/n find herself near a cipher machine she run towards it seeing that Emily was already there, with a smile the two slowly work on the cipher. The alarm went off signaling that Naib was down, Aesop took the chance to save him as Emily and y/n continues to finish ciphers. The next alarm was noted when Aesop was already down, Emily looked at her as she said that she will recue them. Emily left y/n working on the cipher confident that the hunter will not be finding her anytime soon. The moment Emily were gone black and red shadows form beside y/n she stayed confused and curious, after few moments Joseph materialized beside her the beating of her hard shows how close the hunter was.

When Joseph turned to her, he saw the familiar face he had yearn for so long Y/n just stood there something about the new person eyes makes her wonder and makes her calm. The beating of her heart slows down as Joseph slowly walked towards her " is that you?" he asked the girl who only stare at him.

y/n: who?" she asked confused, joseph had a sad eyes as he slowly spoke " young mistress" he said enough for the girl to hear, and just like that her memories came flashing at her. Every scene reply vividly in her memories, she had found him the missing piece of her life " joseph" with that josephs eyes widens " is that you?" the girl asked once again.

Joseph put one of his hand on his mouth, his sword falling on the ground " y/n? young mistress" with that the girl nodded " it took me so long to find you" with that her tears slowly falls down her cheeks, Joseph slowly walked towards her wiping the tears in her face " you always looks so beautiful even when you are crying" with that he slowly hugged the girl.

All the cipher were done and the three of her team mates were waiting for her in the gate, they stood alarmed when they saw y/n walking with joseph but when they realized that he had no intent of hurting her they let him walk up to them. Confused an curious the group stared at them, y/n hand was intertwined with josephs bigger one slowly she let go of his comforting hands.

y/n: until then" she said, joseph only nodded as he slowly let go of her hand, the group of survivor went back to the manor and there y/n explained who was joseph to her. She cannot wait to see him again.
