Chapter 20

Jade's POV

After the wedding there were rumors that Drew caught Katie cheating. Literally in their honeymoon suit! Like who cheats in their honeymoon. Apparently that's Katie for you. It's became a gossip subject within our family members the baby wasn't Drew's baby. Even I think the neighbors knew about it cause their divorce is a chapter mess. Also because their divorce is the most fastest divorce in our family history. Our family is quite known in LA. So, it's normal people are interested in their divorce.

But the most weird thing is that Jason and Lexi threw a party in honor of their divorce. It's really weird. I mean who threw a party because of that. I guess they did. The both said Drew deserved that. "A cheater married another cheater, it's bound to happen", it was exactly what they said. Anyway I don't care about Drew anymore. The more interesting thing for me is about my relationship with Xavier. I still remember our first date. It felt like yesterday. He was so romantic. That day I also told him about my feelings towards him. From that they we were inseparable. "Well not me, it was all Xavier. Clinging to me like a leech". *wink* *wink*.

" Hey, I'm not clingy ", suddenly Xavier shouted behind me taking my dairy from me.

I was shocked from the sudden appearance that I didn't saw when he took my dairy from me and started reading it. " Hey, it's mine ", I all but shouted.

" Yeah, I know, I'm reading it".

"Nooo, ever heard of the privacy? ", I took out the dairy from his grasp a little harshly. " Personal space ", I said in a 'duh' tone.

He gasped dramatically. "I'm an adult Jade, of course I know about it".

" Well didn't seems like you knew".

He ignored my blow. "Anyway you think I'm romantic? ", he wiggled his eyebrows smugly.

" Nope", popped out the 'P'.

"It was written on the dairy", he was smugly smiling at me.

Knowing that I was busted my cheeks and ear got extremely hot. I huffed out now ignoring eye contact.

He hugged me from the behind and softly kissed my now warm cheeks and blew my neck. It sent shivers down to my spine. I lean in more to him. A relaxed sigh left from me. It's been 6 months we are dating. After the wedding we went on our date. From that day we hit off automatically. He didn't even accept the money I offered him when we first had a deal. "I have enough money, I don't need it", were exactly what he said. But still I insisted him but he didn't accept. He's as stubborn as a mule. Anyway more two  dates later he asked me to be his girlfriend officially. Jason and Lexi we're happy about me. He makes me happy.

"Jade? ", Xavier stare at me worriedly.

" What?, what happened? ".

" You zoned out, are you okay? "

"Yeah, it just time passes very quickly isn't it? "

"Yeah, anyway be ready at 8 p.m", he ordered cutely.

" Aww, is Mr. Knight asking me on a date? ", I cooed smugly.

" Yes, and it's our six months anniversary, I want to make it special", he kissed my temple. "Anyway I have to tell you something".

" Okay, anyway where are we going tonight?"

"It's a surprise, dress beautifully even though you look beautiful with anything", he winked.

Xavier was exactly at my door exactly at 8 pm.

" Looking beautiful as ever", he complimented me smiling and peck my lips. "Shall we? ", he extended his elbow for me to take. He was wearing a black suite which looks extremely hot on him.

" Not bad yourself ", I said eyeing him. He only laughed.

After we ate our dinner Xavier suggested to go on a walk in the park and that he had to say something. We walked hand in hand in the park with moonlight, he seems quite nervous. I don't know what he had to say.

" Jade", he stopped me. "I- I need to..., it's now or never", he mumbles to himself.

" You're scaring me, Xav, what is it? "

"Jade, promise me you'll not get mad and leave me", he stated seriously. " Please, promise me ", he wasn't looking at me.

I took out my hand from his hands and grasp his face to look at me, " No matter what", I reassure him.

He took a deep breath, "J-Jade I'm not what I told you I am".

" What?, don't tell me you're some kind of mafia leader from Italy like those cheesy wattpad books ", I joked.

" God! No!! ", he made a disgusting face.

" Then what? ", I asked.

" I'm really the heir of the knight Co-orparation ", he said in all serious.

I burst out laughing. " Yeah, and I'm the daughter of princess Diana, princess Jade", I retorted. "It's not April Fools, Xav".

But looking at his death serious face my laughter died down. I gasped, my hands we're on my mouth.

" No way!, freaking hell".

He winced at my loud accusing voice.

"Please don't be mad", he winced. " I just didn't want you to think of me differently that's why I hide it from you. Please don't be mad".

Sighing I said rubbing my temple, "I'm not mad Xav but you should've told me sooner".

" Sorry", he pouted cutely.

"Ahh!! I can't be mad at you if you keep looking cute like a puppy", I said frustrated.

" Good, then I'll be doing it", he said getting on his both knees like praying. "Please", he did his puppy look.

" Whatever", I rolled my eyes.

He got up immediately and kissed me, "thank you so much, tesoro (Treasure)".

" What does that mean? "

"It's mean treasure mio Amor (my love)".

I knew what mio Amor mean so I didn't ask him.

" Anyway now you know who I am I want you to meet my family", he said.

"What? ", I asked suddenly nervous.

" Don't worry, they'll love you", he assured.

"I hope so".

" Mom and dad is visiting me in Christmas, so after 4 months you'll meet them".

"Okay", I gulped nervously thinking if they'll love me or not.

" Hey!, don't worry ", he kissed my lips. " You'll be fine ".

I didn't reply. All I could think about meeting them now.
