Here's a quick refreshment on the story in case you've forgotten.

Tammie's with Lake right now at the park and she's finally decided to let Jess and Sydney know about write for the readers and her dressing up as a nerd. And they're about to fall into a water fountain.

In the last couple of chapters Tammie discovered what happened on the night of Nadine's party and why Hallie and Nadine have shunned Kat. Basically because Kat made out with Jim even when she knew Hallie liked him. That's the story Tam heard when eavesdroppping in the bathroom, but she still wants to hear another side of the story.

Epic events will unfold in this chapter... or so I hope.

I have an author's note at the end! Happy reading!

********************

If you've ever fallen into a fountain, you'd know that you get wet from one, the water in the fountain, and two, the gushing water spurting from the fountain.

But falling into a fountain with someone is a different story.

Drowning in three feet of water is highly unlikely. Especially for a full grown teenager whose well over three feet tall. But anything is possible when you're being crushed by a body over 150 pounds of muscle and guy.

I started chanting forgiveness in my head in case I wouldn't make it out alive.

I'm sorry mom that I ruined your nice dress shirt. But I do say that splash of dijon mustard added a little flare to it.

Sorry Sydney for forgetting you don't like peaches when I fed you that peach flavored ice cream. I'm also sorry for that trash can you used to spit the ice cream out.

Nadine...... I'm sorry for your parents.

I could've gone on and on as long as I held my breath for eternity. I wanted to breathe in air, but if I tried to suck in a breath, my lungs would become filled like a water bucket. The water was like a suffocating pillow that I couldn't get rid of. I felt like passing out until the pressure holding me down disappeared and my upper body was lifted up.

My first reaction was coughing like a maniac and spitting out the water from my mouth. Some of my hair had plastered to the front of my face, so I shook my head like a dog so I could see clearly. It was all useless since water sprinkling me from above clouded my vision again.

"Tammie, are you alright?"Lake held the sides of my arms securely. He was inspecting my face for any injury.

"Uhh, I think so?" It sounded more like a question.

Lake seemed like he wasn't sure if I was really okay or not, but he let me go and backed up to give me space.

I blinked for a second, trying to remember how the heck we landed in here, but then it hit me like a rock. I ended up falling and draggingLakewith me as if he was a rag doll.

I was about to apologize to Lake when I saw a person nearing their way towards the fountain. I mean, my first initial thought was who cares if I’m in a fountain, I probably don't even know the person!

Wrong.

Dead wrong.

"Not good. This is not good." I mumbled nervously to myself.

I needed a place to hide! I quickly looked around, causing the water to slosh around with me and topple over the side. But of course the only place to hide was..... well right now I was standing in it.

I sucked in a deep breath and collapsed into the cool water. I held my breath for an impressive ten seconds.

But because I don't practice breathing exercises in my spare time, I emerged from the water five seconds later. For the second time I coughed up a lung.
