It was obvious that Odin was about to yell at her, throw her out of the palace or something of the sort. Instead, when he was about to open his mouth, Frigga stood up, walked to Nina and, to everyone's surprise, hugged her.

"You are right," Frigga said once she let go of Nina. "You have every right to be angry and to blame Asgard for what happened, because it was our fault," she said. Nina frowned. What was going on? Frigga turned back to Odin. "She is right. We could have changed the fate of a species, but we did not. You and Hela were too busy taking over Realms, and we both know how that turned out."

Who the hell is Hela?

"And  even then, you came here," Frigga told Nina. "You came here to keep our son company, and I am grateful for that," she honestly said. Nina now understood why Loki had so much affection towards Frigga, even though he now knew that she wasn't his mother. Frigga was a good person, a very good person, and by the looks of it, a very good mother. It was obvious that the boys would have turned up very differently if they had been raised by Odin alone. "My son never opens up to anyone, but he did to you, so I thank you for being here," she said, holding Nina's two hands.

Nina didn't know what to say after all that, so she simply nodded.

"You should go and meet him," Frigga told her. "Loki, he needs you. And he cares about you, so if he knows this about you, he will probably be worried." Frigga then nodded at the guards at the door. "Alf will take you to Loki's chambers."

"Thank you," Nina was able to say to Frigga, and she granted her a warm, motherly smile. Nina knew she could trust Frigga.

Nina followed Alf the guard until they arrived in front of some double doors, on the other side of the castle.

Nina knocked on the door and when Loki opened it, he told the guard to leave them. Just as the guard was out of sight, Loki pulled Nina into a hug and he held her tightly, closing the door behind her.

Nina was taken aback by the sudden show of affection, but she wasn't complaining. Loki let her go and held her face in his hands.

"What happened?" He asked her, pulling her deeper into his room. He had two big windows, which supposedly would let the sunlight come inside and illuminate the room if his curtains hadn't been shut.

Loki sat on the bed and tapped it gently, telling her to sit beside him. She did so.

"Well," Nina started. "It went along the lines of me threatening Odin, and Frigga agreeing with me and thanking me for being here." Loki frowned.

"You threatened Odin," he repeated. Nina nodded. "And Mother took your side?" Nina smiled at him calling Frigga his mother. It was literally impossible for anyone to hate Frigga, so it made sense that Loki still considered her his family.

"Your mother likes me," Nina chuckled.
