"I'm not hungry," they heard Jane's voice from inside the room. Sif nodded at Nina and they both attacked. Sif took on the two guards inside of the room while Nina fought with the two outside of it. The fight was over in less then two seconds.

"I like you," Sif turned to Nina. "You fight like a warrior."

"I could say the same for you, Lady Sif," Nina commented with a smile.

"Let's go," Sif said, her face darkening when she turned back at Jane.

Jane was obviously terrified of what was going to happen next. She was from earth, and all of this was naturally very new and scary. Trying to comfort her, Nina reached for Jane's hand and gave it a squeeze as Sif leaded them through the maze-like halls of the Asgardian palace.

"You're that girl from New York aren't you," Jane asked her, her breathing laboured from almost running to keep up with Sif.

"That's me," Nina confirmed.

Nina was quite glad she was still holding Jane's hand when they turned the corner, because she was definitely not ready for what she saw.

Loki. It was Loki.

He was standing next to Thor, hands cuffed in front of him. He had his signature green outfit on, traces of gold all over it. His hair was thrown back. Recognition also appeared all over Jane's face. Of course she would know who he was, his picture was all over the place. He tried to take over New York.

"You're..." Jane started, pulling her hand from Nina's. Nina gladly let her go, seeing what she was about to do.

"Loki-" he started, only to be interrupted by a slap across his face. Nina couldn't help but smirk at him.

"That was for New York," Jane told him. After taking a look at Nina's expression, Loki only mirrored it, looking back at Thor.

"I like her," he announced. His objective was obviously to make Nina jealous. And.. well, it didn't really work. Nina also blamed Loki for what he did to New York. The whole city was almost bombed because of it. That slap was very well deserved, on her opinion.

"I like her too," she admitted, turning to thor. "This relationship is approved," she told Thor, making him chuckle, and turning Loki's attention back to Nina.

"Hello, Nina. You look stunning," he said, a smirk on his face.

"Wipe that smirk out of your face, Loki," she told him. "It doesn't suit you very well" His face immediately fell when Jane snorted, earning a very disgusted look by Sif.

Almost at the same time, guards turned the corner and appeared in front of them. Odin had been notified of the Jane's disappearance. Granted, Nina didn't like Odin very much. Actually, she hated him with all of her hearts. While the Time War was blazing, and the Time Lords were getting annihilated, all Odin was doing with his army was conquering his nine realms. He was responsible for the death of billions, a whole race, and yet here Nina was, fighting to save his own realm.

"I'll hold them off," Sif suddenly said, yanking Nina away from her thoughts. "Take them."

Thor thanked Sif and placed a long sword in Nina's hand. "What's this?" She asked him.

"Jane can't fight," he said. "And I don't trust Loki enough to untie him, so you're gonna help me to protect ourselves," he announced, as they reached a grand Hall, where a ginger man was waiting for them. Nina also noticed the big spaceship behind him. Thor thanked his friend for helping them, and they started to step in the ship, Nina walking behind Loki, making sure he didn't run away or something. Suddenly, Loki stopped, making Nina bump into him.

"If you even think of betraying him-" the man said. It was only then Nina realised that the reason for Loki's halt was the man's arm in front of him.

"You'll kill me?" Loki guessed. "Evidently, there will be a line," he commented, before walking past the man and into the spaceship.

"You must be the famous Lady Jones," the man said, a smug smile on his face. "I'm Volstagg."

Nina smiled, not sure if calling her 'famous' was good or bad. She decided she would take it as a compliment. "I'm not sure what I am famous for, but it is nice to meet, you Volstagg."

"You're maybe the most famous person here after the royals," he explained. "You're the only one to capture the Prince's heart." Nina sighed.

"I didn't capture anyone's heart. If I did, it was not my intention to do so," she said. Nina knew it was a lie. She had captured Loki's heart. He had fallen in love with her, and her with him. Unfourtunetly, he couldn't understand her most primitive fear. The fear of losing everyone she loved and being left behind.

Again.
