11 months later.

Nina was in the middle of a mission. She couldn't be disturbed. It was about the whole thing with Hydra. Well, there wasn't actually a thing, but Fury believed it could be, and she was the only he trusted with the information, so she was undercover, looking into it.

As said before, she could not be disturbed.

And of course, that's exactly what happened.

She was in an empty street, and it was about two in the morning. She knew her suspect was supposed to drop a package a few blocks from where she was, so that's where she was heading.

Except... she didn't quite manage to get there.

A bright light suddenly hit her face, immediately carving the asphalt in front of her. She already knew what it was, or better, who it was.

"Lady Jones," Thor greeted her. Before she said anything, Nina grabbed Thor's arm and pulled him into an alley.

"You can't be here!" She whispered yelled at him. "I'm in the middle of a thing and-"

"I need your help," he told her. Nina immediately noticed the panic in his voice. Whatever he needed her for, it must have been important.

"I'm undercover. I cant just leave the mission," she informed her. "Can you wait a bit?" Thor's face darkened.

"I'm afraid I can't. It has to do with one of the infinity stones, and you're the only person I trust who knows about them," he told her. "I need your help." Nina couldn't say no. Not only Thor was pitiful at the moment, but this was an Infinity Stone they were talking about, and she had to admit, it was slightly more important than whatever mission she was doing for SHIELD.

"Fine. What happened?" She asked him.

"Dark elves. They invaded Asgard, looking for the Reality Stone," he started. "For some reason, its behaving as an entity, possessing Jane." Jane, that's his girlfriend no? His human girlfriend. Why was an Infinity Stone possessing a human? "We have to take her out of Asgard, and Heimdall is willing to help. We have a plan." Heimdall, Nina knew that one too. The universe contained many seers. She was one of them, and so was Heimdall. She didn't really use her seeing thing. It was hard. It reminded her of all of her friends, family, of her people. When she watched her planet being destroyed, she promised to herself that she wouldn't use any of her powers anymore, only if highly necessary.

"Okay, fine," she decided. "I'm in."

Nina trusted Heimdall. And I mean, it's not like she could ever say no to visiting Asgard once again, even if it brought up some pretty bad memories. Good news was: she wouldn't even have to see Loki.

"Heimdall, bring us home," Thor said, looking up. He passed an arm around Nina's waist and they were suddenly beamed up into the light.

Nina had to admit it, it was quite nostalgic to travel through space in such way. It reminded her much of her TARDIS. But this was no time to feel sorry for herself. Nina found herself giggling like a child as she fell her feet taking off the ground.
