"Okay, in the subject of your weird anatomy," Tony trailed off, catching everyone's attention. "I'm pretty sure I met you when I was a kid."

"Oh, Nina, I didn't know you were that old," Natasha joked.

"Hilarious, Romanoff," Tony told her, earning a smirk from the redhead. "That is so funny."

"Tony's got a point, though," Bruce said. "How old are you?"

"Is that a question to ask a woman, Banner?" Nina joked.

"Well, you don't seem to age, and you look 25, so I'm not so sure what to think." He defended his statement.

The conversation deepened into Nina's anatomy, and she ended up explaining everything about regeneration. She told them pretty much everything; how it worked, what exactly changed, what didn't. She explained that she could look completely different, and have a different personality, but still have the same memories and feelings, and still be the same Nina. She told them what exactly would happen, such as the glowing and the screaming, because even if she didn't technically die, it would still feel like dying.

"Okay but," Tony started. Tony had been curious and had asked questions throughout her explanation. Apparently, he found it facinating. "Could you do it now, if you wanted to?" He asked. Nina took a minute to think, so he decided to specify his question. "Like, I know you could just stab youself and do it, but can you do it without any trigger?"

"Yes," she said. "But why would I ever do that? It's a way to cheat death, but I've only got 12 regenerations, meaning 13 'faces' in total," she explained.

"And which one is that one?" Bruce asked, pointing at her.

"Eighth," she told them with a smile.

"Okay, another question," Tony started again. "Could you look the same after doing your thing? Like, you said you had an influence on how you look, so could you go from like, Katy Perry to Zoey Deschannel?" Nina actually laughed at the way he formulated the question.

"Technically, yes, but I can only control some aspects," Nina explained. "Like the face, for example. I could try to keep the same overall look. But I have no control on how tall I'll be, or hair colour, and absolutely no control over the personality."

"So when the time comes and you've got to change," Steve finally joined their conversation. "You could try and look the same."

"Well I've tried it once, qnd it really didn't work, so honnestly, I don't know," Nina told him. "But I'd probably just kinda pass out from exhaustion afterwards."

"Know the feeling," said a groggy voice. They all turned around and realised Clint had been awake for some time, now, and was drinking his juice.
