Suddenly, Sam came by flying, holding Sitwell in his hands and threw him back on the rooftop. His forehead had been cut by something, Nina guessed he had annoyed Sam enough during their little trip down and up again the building.

"Zola's algorithm is a program...for choosing Insight's targets!" Sitwell almost screamed, not wanting to go through that experience again.

"What targets?" Steve asked him harshly.

"You! A TV anchor in Cairo, the Undersecretary of Defense, a high school valedictorian in Iowa city. Bruce Banner, Stephen Strange, anyone who's a threat to HYDRA! Now, or in the future."

"The future? How could it know?" Nina looked down. She knew exactly how. And apparently, so did Sitwell. He let out a laugh.

"How could we not? Hydra was in her head!" He yelled, pointing at Nina. "The 21st century is a digital book. Zola taught HYDRA how to read it." Nina could not feel more guilty. She kind of knew what Insight was, and in some way, it was her fault. "Your bank records, medical histories, voting patterns, e-mails, phone calls, your damn SAT scores. Zola's algorithm evaluates people's past to predict their future."

"And then What?" Steve asked him, taking in the information.

"Oh god," Sitwell murmured, realising he had maybe said a bit too much. "Pierce is gonna kill me."

"And then what?" Steve asked, more aggressively.

"Then the Insight Helicarriers scratch people off the list. A few million at a time."

Short chapter, sorry. Next one is coming up soon :)
