Now that he thought about it, it did make sense. Nina looked like humans, bus she definitely did not act like one. She had also once told him that she was 'good with time'.

Thor also understood where Nina's hate for his father came from. The Time Lords had once begged Odin to help them during the Time War, and when Gallifrey was destroyed and the Time Lords killed, Nina had every reason to blame Asgard. Odin had told Thor that even with the help from Asgard's army, the Time Lords had no chance, but Thor wasn't so sure about that.

"Nina will live for years and years, and she will be there once I am finally free from this hell," Loki told his brother. "Jane has maybe sixty years to live. She will age, and wither, and die."

"And will that bring you satisfaction?"

"Satisfaction is not in my nature."

"Surrender is not in mine."

"The son of Odin," Loki laughed, making Thor stand up in rage.

"No, it just of Odin!" Thor yelled, accidentally waking Nina up. "You think you were the only one who wer we loved of mother?!"

"What happened to your mother?" Nina asked, slowly standing up, using the edge of the ship for support. When both Thor and Loki turned at her, grief on their faces, she knew exactly what had happened. "I'm sorry," she said sincerely.

"You had her tricks, Loki," Thor continued their previous argument. "But I had her trust."

"Trust. Was that her last expression?" Loki asked incredulously. "Trust? When you let her die?!"

"What help were you in your cell?" Thor asked, his voice raising again.

"Who put me there?!" Loki yelled. "Who put me there!!??" Thor lost his calm and grabbed Loki's collar, backing him up against the ship wall. Nina took a step forward, wanting to stop their fighting, but now knowing how.

"You know damn well who!" Thor screamed at his brother, pulling his hand back, ready to punch Loki. "You know damn well!"

"Thor!" Nina suddenly yelled. "Boys, please," she tried. "I knew your mother. She wouldn't wish for her children to fight." Thor lowered his fist.

"Nina's right," Thor agreed. "She wouldn't want this."

"Well, she wouldn't exactly be shocked," Loki commented, smirking. He managed to get a smile out of Thor's face. Thor took a step back.

"I wish I could trust you," Thor articulated, stepping away from his brother.

"Trust my rage," Loki faltered.
