As soon as she felt solid ground beneath her feet, Nina opened the eyes she hadn't even realised she had closed. She looked around, and was quite overwhelmed. Everything was made of pure gold, or at least it shone like it did.

"Lady Jones," she heard a voice call her name. Nina turned around and let go of Loki's arm, finally seeing Heimdall. "I have dreamt of meeting you multiple times," he admitted. Nina smiled.

"Heimdall," she said. "I strangely feel like I already know you," she told him with a smile.

"I could say the same, and I would love to keep on gossiping, but I fear that we have more important issues at hand," he said.

"Yes I'm afraid so," Nina agreed.

Nina followed Thor into the palace, and for once, she felt extremely left out.

"Hey, don't you think that I'm slightly standing out in these clothes," Nina asked, looking down at herself. She was wearing a dark blue tshirt, black Jeans and a black leather jacket.

"Yes, I am going to bring you to Sif's chambers. She's a close friend of mine, and she'll help you fit in." Nina decidedto just go with it. This was not her home, and she had never been to Asgard. Thor seemed really tense, and he was obviously rushing. He probably just wanted to get his brother to his father, and out of trouble. Nina hadn't even had the time to take on all of the wonders Asgard was to give her. The palace was stunning, Nina had never seen something more beautiful in her life.

"We will go directly to the throne room," Thor announced. "Father is already waiting. You go to Sif, and meet us there."

"Wait a minute," Nina said, slightly running to catch up with the men. "Why do I have to go to the throne room. I dont want to meet anyone's father."

"You are a witness, Lady Nina."

"As are you," she countered. "Why cant your father just listen to you?"

"After centuries of fighting between me and Loki, father has learned he cannot trust any of us in case of conflict," Thor said, as he stopped walking. He knocked on a door and a woman opened it.

"Thor, the hearing is about to begin," the lady, Sif, told Thor.

"I know, Sif," he began, "but I need your help. Can you borrow one of your dresses to Lady Nina? I need her in the hearing and she is in no condition."

"Midgardian?" Sif asked. Just as Nina was about to answer, Thor interrupted.

"Yes," he said. "A maid will take care of getting her clothes, but for now she doesnt have any," Thor explained. Sif nodded.

"Sure," she said. "Come in," she mentioned inside her room and Nina came in, closing the door behind her as Thor and Loki walked away.

"Thank you for helping me, Lady Sif," Nina said. She didnt know much about Asgard. It was one of those planets that no Time Lord was supposed to visit.

"It is no problem," she said with a small smile. "Thor needs you in a dress, so i shall happily help. Now, I do not own many dresses, I prefer wearing combat clothes, and you are a lot shorter than me, so we have a problem."

"Oh, yes," Nina said, looking down at her own body. It wasn't something she was very aware of. She knew that one day, maybe tomorrow, maybe in a year, maybe in a decade, her body would change again, and she would become a completely new person. Right now, she was quite fit, and very short. "I wasn't lucky with this body, maybe next time."

She froze, realizing what she had said.

"You are definetly not from Midgard, are you?" Sif asked, turning back to her closet. There was so much purple and gold and red that Nina didnt know where to look. In her own closet, she had mostly dark clothes, such as black, dark blue, dark green, and the only bright coloured clothing she would wear was her airforce blue jacket.

"Uhh, no," she managed to concentrate on the question. "Not from Midgard, although I call it Earth."

"Where are you from, then?" Sif asked, taking out a red dress from her closet. "You could wear this with some heels," she added. Nina immediatly shook her head.

"Do you have something more discrete?" Nina asked. "I don't do well with red," she said. "And dont freak out, but I'm pretty much the only Gallifreyan you'll ever see."
