"I didn't know you had that in you," Bucky told her as soon as they closed Tremblay's door. Nina sighed.
"I hate doing that."
"I can see," Bucky granted. "Now we gotta go somewhere to sleep," he explained.
"I'm not tired," she said, taking his left hand in hers. Bucky loved it when she did that, because it assured him that Nina was definetly not scared of him.
"I know you're not, you slept the whole way here," Bucky scoffed. Nina laughed and grabbed his arm, pulling him closer to her. Anyone passing by would simply believe they were a normal couple. Honestly, that's what Nina hoped they were. Just... normal. But how could they? Hydra was after Bucky, because he hadn't finished his mission which was killing Steve. Kellner was after her because he wanted her back under his control. They weren't save, they could never live normal lives. "We're still going to find a hotel room somewhere and spend the night."
"We can't stay here for long though, can we? Even though we scared the shit out of that guy, if Hydra wants information, they will get it," Nina said. Bucky nodded.
"Yeah, we'll have to get out of here by the morning."
"Well," Nina said with a happy smile on her face. "One good thing about Europe, we can drive thirty minutes west and were in a completely different country." Bucky laughed.
"I guess. We do have to think about that, though. It's not safe to go to Russia or Serbia." Nina nodded.
"Or Germany."
They kept discussing until they got to a small motel. Nina got them a room, because they were too scared Bucky would be recognised. There were no more two beds rooms, and Nina wasn't sure if that was good or not. They got inside and Bucky immediately dropped on the bed. Nina could help but chuckle. Bucky turned his head from the mattress and towards her.
"What?" Nina laughed more.
"You're so cute." Bucky frowned, but soon smiled.
"No I'm not," he argued.
"Yes. Yes you are," Nina told him. She dropped the bag and grabbed some money from one of its pockets. "I'm gonna go and buy a pizza or something. I'm starving. I'll be back. Try and take a nap."
When Bucky didn't respond, Nina turned to him and saw that he was already snoring. She smiled and left the room, already thinking about the pizza she was about to get.
