"Рыжеволосый."

Nina flinched, all of her muscles contracted as a reflex. Her breathing started to fasten once more as she realised what was actually happening. There was a laugh from Kellner.

"Король."

Nina closed her eyes and threw her head back into the metal of the chair. She couldn't believe the words still had some effect on her. It had been so many years. She was trying to fight it off, but it was hard.

"Скучный."

"No," Nina whispered. She wasn't gonna let this happen. She wasn't gonna let Bucky become a slave because of her. Not again.

"Поле."

Nina took a deep breath and tried to concentrate on something else. She still had the choice to not hear the words. She still had some free will left.

"бутылка."

She heard it, but not concentrating on it. She could do it, she told herself. She only had to believe.

"Лыжа."

Nope, not happening.

"Возрождение."

"Человечество."

Nope, these are just normal words.

"Удаление."

What is this supposed to mean?

"Восходящий."

That was it. Ten words. Nina slowly opened her eyes, looking around to see Kellner's reaction when he realizes it didn't work. Kellner frowned, and he looked ready to beat someone up, but then he took a deep breath as if to calm himself and then smiled again.

"Alright, then. We are gonna have to do this the hard way," he announced. "Преуспевать," he said, turning to the other scientists in the room.

Panic arose in Nina once more as they walked towards her. She started trying to break free, and for a second there, she managed to do so. Her right arm was able to force the magnetic strap open and she punched one scientist in the nose. An agent quickly came forward to strap her arm back into place.

"Now, Генезис, let the men do their jobs."

Nina froze. Genesis. It was happening again.

That was the word meant to shut her down completely when she was in her "Soldier" mode. When she was just Nina Jones, it would simply make her mind go blank. And that's exactly what it did. The men around her strapped her back on the chair and placed some thing on her head. It was a metal thing, Nina wasn't really sure what it was, but when the machine turned on, she knew exactly what she was dealing with.

Electricity.

This machine was about to send jolts of energy through her body.
