6 Months Later

"Sis, you ready?" Maria asked as she knocked on my door.
"Yeah, one second" I replied as I stared at myself in the mirror. I took a deep breath before grabbing my things to go.
After a long six months full of planning this wedding to studying for school, I was definitely ready to be marrying the man of my dreams.
As we walked out of the apartment we quickly found Hazel's car where she was sitting waiting for us.
"Ahhh!! It's the big day!" She screamed as I sat in the front seat. I laughed at her wild nature before getting comfortable. I was trying my best to control my nerves when they wanted to run wild.
"I know" I said with a smile on my face. "Have you talked to August?" I asked.
Last night August stayed with Travis and Jalen at Trav's apartment to prepare for the wedding, but I was missing him. I hated to sleep without him or even be away from his presence.
"Yes and he is okay girl. You know Trav crazy ass is keeping him entertained" She replied making me nod my head, agreeing with her.
"You know, it probably wasn't a good idea to leave them with Jalen. They might drive him crazy"
Maria laughed in the back seat before agreeing with me.
"It sounded like they were all okay, nothing to worry about" Hazel said causing me to raise an eyebrow.
"Is there something you're hiding Hazel?" I asked.
"No" She simply responded.
"Okay" I sighed, looking out the window. We were on the way to get my hair and makeup done and all I could do was try to control my nerves.
After everything we went through was all worth it because now I would be marrying my first and only love. We stayed strong through all of the rough things we had to go through.
I smiled at the thought of him. In my eyes, he was perfect. He took care of me, he over looked all of my flaws, and he never left me. He's the most handsome man I know and somehow I'm the woman he chose to marry.
As I looked up I realized we were here so I unbuckled and got out of the car.
"Lena! Hello honey, it's so nice to see you" Hazel's cousin, Anna, said as we walked in.
"It's nice to see you too" I smiled as she brought me into a hug.
"You ready for all of this?" She asked as she sat me down to start with my makeup.
"I'm ready" I said as I gave a content smile. I truly was ready, my nerves were mostly coming from being ready to see my man.
I knew he was who I wanted to spend my life with, there was no doubt about that.
"I'm so happy for you two. You deserve each other" she said, smiling.
"Thank you Anna. And I appreciate you doing all of this for me" I replied.
"You know it's no problem girl"
After about an hour, my makeup was finished and my hair was almost done.
"Uh, one sec" Hazel said giving me an awkward smile before walking out of the room. I squinted my eyes at her knowing she was hiding something from me but I tried to ignore it for the time being.
