Ch11: All sorts of women

Start from the beginning

"Hello, welcome to Victoria's Secret is there anything you need help with?" A fairly young girl with brown hair and lively green eyes asked. On her name tag it said Rene'.

"Yes, my friend here needs help in the ladies department." Sydney gestured to Jess.

"Well you've come to the right place." Rene' winked.

We all looked at each other as if we hit the hook, line, and sinker, but were we totally wrong.

"Alright hun, do you want to try on our new yoga pants? They come in hot pink." She was looking right at Jess.

It took a moment but then me and Sydney started snickering. Jess's cheeks were flaming red.

"Wh-what? I think  you got it wrong."

"It's alright to admit it, boo. They come in baby pink if you prefer that."

Jess stared at her unblinkingly.

She must be dense or something because she kept going.

"I get it, you're the shy type. Here, If you need any guidance just call me." The girl took out a pen and paper from her back pocket and scribbled down her number.

She handed the slip to Jess who shakily reached out for it. Rene' patted his hand as if saying 'I'm here for you.' Then stalked off to assist another customer.

"What was that?!" Sydney bawled.

I erupted in full on laughter. She thought Jess was gay! (No offence to gay people)

"Well at least you got her number!" I hooted.

"It's not funny! And you!" Jess pointed and glared at Sydney. "Watch how you word things!"

"I'm sorry! I was simply referring to help with getting girls!"

"Whatever." Jess grumbled.

Our laughter died off after receiving odd looks from everyone.

"Okay, lets get serious. Ummm, how about you go talk to that girl." Sydney pointed at- woah that's a girl?

"Sydney I think that's a man." I cocked my head to the side as if to get a better look.

"No stupid the person next to- woah, that does look like a man."

We were studying the "she-man" that we didn't notice Jess walking up to the girl that Syd indicated to. To get her attention I nudged Sydney so she could witness the scene.

The girl was tall but her height was from wearing those platform sandal things. A big sun hat was resting on her head and a pair of shades that were no doubt a designer brand obstructed half her face. She was wearing short-shorts and a coral colored tank top that hugged her 'girls' a little too obviously. I swear it looked like Mt. Everest grew a twin and they were camping inside her shirt. To top it off her red lipstick coated lips were smacking loudly as she chewed on a piece of gum.

"I can't believe he's actually going up to that." I mumbled.

"I can't believe I suggested that." Sydney replied quietly.

To get a better idea what they were talking about we scuttled to a clothing rack and hid behind it to eavesdrop.

"Haha you're totally right! You're kind of cute by the way." Girlish giggles erupted from the girl.

Could you even call that giggles? That sounded like a baby gagging on spit.

"Erm, thanks." Jess responded.

We peeked our heads through the apparel to get a more suitable view of things. Jess was looking noticeably uneasy as she trailed her small hand up and down his arm. I guess she was seducing...... poorly....
