I put my pyjama pants back on before pulling a hoodie over my almost naked chest. I hurry towards the door with my wet hair bouncing against my back, making my hoodie soaked. I don't care though.

I smash the door open, revealing my red haired friend.

"I came here as quickly as I could" she breaths heavily. "What's the emergency?"

I take a step aside, making it possible for her to come inside before I close the door.

"It's a quite long story"

"Well, my schedule is empty today" she kicks her shoes off, looking at me. "I have all day to hear your story"

-

I let the brush run through my new washed her hair as I tell Taylor. Her eyes grows bigger for every word I utter. I take that as like she didn't know about Landon's feelings either.

"I'm not surprised though, I've always thought the two of you would make a great couple" she mumbles, studying my face.

"I don't know what to do" I sigh. "This is too much for me to handle"

Taylor lets out a quiet 'aw', before she moves towards me, putting her arms around me in a hug. "It will be alright, don't worry"

"I wish Landon never would have kissed me. Everything was perfectly fine with just Luke"

Taylor breaks the hug, placing herself next to me. "So now we're gonna do a thing"

"What thing?"

"Just close your eyes!"

I do as I'm told, slowly closing my eyes.

"Now," Taylor says. "You're gonna tell me exactly how you feel about each boy. Don't care about how it sounds or anything, just let it all out. I'm here, and as your best friend, I promise not to judge"

I chuckle. "Okay then"

"So let's start with Landon" she mumbles. "Tell me what you feel"

"I feel.. Some kind of excitement. I don't know... I really don't know what I feel I just.. I liked it"

"The kiss?"

I slowly nod. "Yeah... I wish I wouldn't have though"

"Keep on talking" Taylor says. "We're still on Landon"

"I'm just really happy when I'm around Landon. He's my best friend, someone I can trust and have fun with" I stop, not sure where I'm going with this. "And, well... He's not exactly ugly"

"So... You like him?"

"Yeah, of course"

"As more than a friend?"

I don't say anything, unsure what I should or want to say. "I..."

"...do" she finish the sentence for me, making my face turn red. "It's okay, I had a massive crush on Landon when we were like 13. You can't be around him without fall at least one time"

"But I-"

"Luke" she interrupts me. "It's Luke's turn now"

"You know how I feel about him" I mutter. "This is weird, do we really have to do it?"

She sighs. "Then tell me again! And yes, we have to"

"I love him" I say.

"Are you sure about that?"

I open my eyes, staring at Tay. "Why are you saying like that? I thought this would help me?"

"It does!"

"How?" I spit, crossing my arms.

"You may only have said a few words about the dude, but I know for sure who I would take if I was you"

-

I sit with my back against the building. Landon's mom told me he had went to this meeting about a job he wanted. People are rushing by my feet, giving me annoyed looks when I'm in the way. Who cares though? I need to talk to Landon and I will rather sit than standing.

There. I can see his black beanie and bright backpack disappearing away down the street. I quickly stand up, hurrying after him without bothering about the angry people I accidentally push in my hurry.

"Lan!" I say as I come closer. He can't hear me. "Landon!"

I reach him, grabbing his arm. "Hey, lan"

He turns to face me. My heart drops to my stomach when I realise what I will need to do in just a few minutes.

"Hi" he says, smiling. His bottom lip has a slight brush, but he seems to be okay after Luke's attack.

"Hi"

I guess I shouldn't be surprised about what Taylor told me. It's been quite obvious for a while now.

"What are you doing here?" He asks.

"Actually, I was looking for you" I say, smiling slightly. "I need to talk to you"

"Will you punch me as well? Because last time someone wanted to talk to me, that happened"

"Yeah, sorry about that.." I say. "But no, I won't hit you"

"Good" he smiles. "So what would you like to tell me then?"

"Can we maybe sit down?" I ask. "It's so crowded here"

"Of course!"

We try to find a place to sit on, without this much people. It's impossible though. Eventually, I grab his hand, dragging him inside a store. It's not that much people as we walk towards the jeans. I know there's a bench here somewhere.

"There, des" he says. "It's a bench over there"

I nod, placing myself next to him. I stay quiet, not wanting to tell him what I have to say.

"Soooo.... What was it you wanted to tell me?"

"Okay, I'm just gonna do it real quickly" I mumble, looking down at my hands in my lap.

"You can tell me anything des, you know that"

I look up to face him, ready to say it. But boom. I stare into his concerned eyes and I realise I can't utter those words. I stare for a while, paralysed.

"Tell me" he mumbles, not breaking our eye contact.

"I..." I can't say it.

"Yeah?"

I can't help it. I really can't. He just smells like heaven, and looks like an angel who belongs there. I bet he knows he drives me crazy by looking at me like that.

I lean in, even though I know it's wrong. I just need to kiss him. My lips against his just feels perfect, and I can feel a shiver down my arms as he grabs my hand.

I can't help it. But I like kissing Landon. It's pointless to deny it. I like kissing him. I wouldn't mind kissing him for forever. I just can't help it.

I slowly break the kiss, letting my forehead lean against his as I finish the sentence I started before. "I like you"

"I like you too, destiny"
