Me and Ashton have been continue having these little arguments about nothing important at all. Like when he drove me to school, we were argument about his glasses. I said that he should wear them, and he said no. Right now, he's placed in my kitchen, talking to my mom. I'm still in my room, trying to decide what to wear. It's really warm today, so I'm thinking about wearing shorts. I often wear my jeans, but it will probably be too hot today.. But I hate myself in shorts though. Eventually, I put on some jeans shorts and a grey tee. I put up my hair in a bun before reaching my backpack. I take my phone and walk out of my room.

"I'm done.." I mumble towards Ashton. He looks up and smiles towards me.

"It was so nice to meet you again, Hayley!" Smiles Ashton as he hugs my mom.

"Oh, it's been way too long! And don't hesitate to come over anytime you want, now that you're here in London!" My mom smiles towards Ashton.

"I won't! But I think we need to go now, we're meeting the boys on the beach" Ashton takes my hand and drags me towards the door. I grab a hoodie from a chair witch I pack down in my backpack. After taking my shoes on, black converse as usual may I add, we walk towards the elevator.

"Oh, they're over there!" Ashton points towards a spot on the beach.

"Ash?.. I can't remember their names" I whisper in panic. I don't want to meet them, no I would be satisfied with just Ashton..

"Awh, it's okay, Des! The very tall and blonde one is Luke, the guy with the weird hair is Michael and Calum is the one with black hair" he explains while laying his arm around my shoulder. Luke, Michael, Calum. Luke, Michael, Calum. Luke, michael, Calum. I continue to repeat their names in my mind so that I won't forget them.

"Don't worry, Destiny! They already loves you, pinky promise" Ashton looks down at me with a smile.

"Okay..." I mumble. We reach the place where the three boys are placed. All three of them are shirtless, and I think they've waited to go and bath until we arrived.

"Hi guys! You remember Destiny, right?" Ashton stops, and the boys smile up at me.

"Of course!" says Calum. "It's so nice to meet you again!" I gives them a shy smile.

"Yeah, it's nice to meet you guys again too" I say. Ashton takes my backpack and places it on one of the two towels he just placed at the sand.

"So, who's up for a bath?" Michael - I think - stands up with a smile. The other boys are standing up too. Ashton takes of his tee and throws it on the ground.

"You coming, Des?" Ash wonders when I won't move. The other boys are already in the water, and Ashton looks towards me.

"Uhm.. I will just stay here, ash. I'm not in the mood for a swim" I say, sitting down on the towel.

"Oh.. Well, I can stay here with you, if you want?" He says. I shake my head.

"No! Ashton, go. I will be fine" I let out a little laugh, and ash smiles.

"Okay then. But if you miss me too much, you know where to find me" he winks towards me before running towards his mates in the water. I sigh before picking up my notebook and a pencil from my backpack. I look through the very few words on the page. My 'song'.. I hate it.. Because I need to write something happy, I'm not even sure if I know what happiness is anymore. My teacher said that it would be great if if was about love and happiness, not dead and other sad things that my last song was about. But I've never been in love, and it's been a long time since I was happy... I start to doodle instead, while trying to come up with a good beginning. After about 20 minutes - I think it's 20 minutes, at least - someone sits down beside me. I look up from my notebook and stares right into two blue eyes. I hide what I've wrote down before turning away from his eyes.

"Do you mind?" He asks with a low, Australian accent.

"Not at all" I mumble. His name is Luke, if I remember right.

"I'm Luke, if you've forgot. People often do that" he says, giving me a small smile. I can't help but smile back as I see his dimple. Dimples are my weakness, to be honest..

"I didn't forgot! Or well, maybe I did, but Ashton reminded me before we got her" I reply with another small smile. Luke laughs, and drags a hand through his wet, blonde hair.

"Well, you're Destiny. I haven't forgot that. I mean, how could I? Ashton is constantly talking about you and all your childhood memories together" Luke lays his arms around his legs as he speaks, and he slowly starts to doodle in the sand with his hands.

"He really missed you, you know" he says, turning his eyes to mine.

"Yeah.. But it doesn't feel like that" I mumble. It gets quiet, and I start to doodle in my notebook again.

"What are you writing?" Luke suddenly asks. I close the notebook with a slight blush.

"Oh.. Uhm.. I'm actually trying to write a song, for school, but I can't come up with something" I mumble with a low voice.

"Really? So what's the song about?" He asks, and I can notice that he sounds quite excited.

"Uhm.. I started with one song, but my teacher said that I needed to write a happier one" I admit. Luke lets out a laugh, and I look down.

"Really? Can I read it?" He asks. I hesitate, but eventually I reach him the notebook. He starts to read as I nervously stares at his face, searching for a sign that it isn't good. But when I can spot one if his dimples, I relax. When he's done, he looks up, meeting my eyes again.

"It's really good, Destiny. I don't get it why he wants it happier, this one sounds so real. It's a story behind it, right? Something that you have close to your heart?" He asks, and I nod. "Then it will make you sing it with more passion, and then it will touch people in a whole different way. Most artist nowadays doesn't even write their own songs, so when they sing about this 'special boy' or this 'special girl' it doesn't sound real. Do you understand?" I nod again, not really sure what to say. Luke smiles.

"I agree that it's quite depressing, but hat would happen if happy sings were the only ones existing? We would eventually be tired of always hearing about those happy endings" he gives me back my notebook. "If he wants if happier, then make it happier. But stick to the tragedy story too. This would fit perfectly in a song with a little tempo, to be honest"

"Really?" I ask, looking down at the words.

"Yeah, totally! All you need is a little time and patient. When do you need to be done?" Luke asks me.

"Uhm.. We're starting recording when school starts after summer again" I mumble.

"But I don't know how to turn a depressed song into a happier one" I complain. Luke gives me another small smile.

"Well, I can help you if you want..? Believe it or not, but I've wrote sings before" he says. I laugh. It's weird, I never laugh with people except my three best friends...

"Would you like to do that?" I ask with a low voice.

"Yeah, sure! Anything for you" he smiles before reaching for the notebook again. My cheeks turns pink, but I give him the pen too.

"So.. If I'm gonna be your writing partner I need to know what the song is about. Would you like to tell me? If not, then it's okay! I will just guess then" he looks up, again staring right into my eyes. Without blinking, I start to tell him the story about Megan. It's weird, in usual it would take someone year before I would trust them enough to let all my feelings out. But for Luke it only took, what? Five minutes?.. I don't know, he just made me feel comfortable right away.
