Sooyoung is running from the parking lot the the fancy restaurant where the blind matching event thing is happening. Basically, Minho and his family are meeting with the girl and her family, talking about the possibility of their marriage or romantic relationship ahead together. Sooyoung clearly supports whatever decision that Minho chooses, even though she feels that he should be with Yuri instead, but she knows sometimes reality isn't as fancy as what romantic novels have offered. So she actually hates to break the ceremony but she has to.

After frantically asking the receptionist about the room (and getting chased by the servants too), she opens the sliding door and as expected, everyone is startled and getting shocked.

Minho blinks to her. "Detective Park? Why are you here?"

"Shes's your friend, Minho-ah?" His mother asks and he nods. "She is one of my co-worker and Detective Oh's partner."

As his father definitely has heard Sehun before, he is the only one who doesn't show his shocked face anymore. Although, the judgemental looks are given to her by the female's family and herself. Soyoung tries to ignore those looks and gives salute to Minho's father, as he is her superior. "Commisioner Choi, Detective Park Sooyoung!"

He nods. "Is something happened in the precinct? A case happens?"

Sooyoung lowers her hand and sighs a little before answers, "a cafe within our area is being hijacked, and they demanded someone that had link with Detective Choi to become a collateral."

Everyone is gasping in shockness and Minho gets up. "What?"

"Miss Kwon is there, Detective Choi, and she is the collateral, as I have been texted by Detective Oh." His family looks even more bewildered and Minho looks like he can speak no more. "We need Detective Choi now to investigate and stop the hijacking action before anything worse happens. Three people have been murdered because of this."

"Miss Kwon?" And his mother looks uncomfortable to talk about Yuri in front of her possible in-laws, "are you talking about her? That girl?"

Sooyoung nods unsurely. She sure knows the reason of the tension. And she knows that she could see her angry face, which is what she is seeing now. "She has nothing related to us anymore!"

"Mom...." Minho's younger brother tries to calm her down.

However, Minho, ignoring his mother's protest, goes toward Sooyoung. "Let's go."

"Minho-ah!" His mother is about to get up but his father holds her down. "His job is to protect the city and its people. Now he has to do what he has to do." He then bows to the girl's side. "I am so sorry but my son is called on duty now."

Her father bows too, "it's okay, Commisioner Choi. We understand." Minho pushes Sooyoung out afterwards without giving her time to hear the conversation more. He quickly takes his shoes. "Why me, though?"

She shakes her head. "I don't know for sure, Detective Choi. But beside Miss Kwon, there is also Doctor Zhang there. Detective Kim needs you most to calm himself down at this moment."

"She's here? How? And how could they--"

"Maybe it's just a coincidence she is there too."

As Captain Kwon finally can pull some strings, the detectives are allowed to involve themselves in the investigation. And so Sooyoung and Minho are going to the crime site instead to the precinct. Jongdae and Sehun are sitting on one desk when they come.

"I have heard the things from Detective Park," Minho announces and pats Jongdae's back. "Everything will be alright."

"You should be more agitated than me, Minho-ah."
