Case One : 'I am Your Father' (part 4) (Final)

"Here, Oh Sehun-sshi." Minho gives a book or it might be piles of file to him. He just smiles back to Minho and it confuses Sooyoung. Just an hour ago, he blurted out that the butler somehow knew where the baby was. But after that, he instructed Minho to search something indicating the butler in Lady Chichi's files of evidence. He then dismissed the crowd, saying that it would be revealed soon, however, he has asked Jung Minki's HQ place to Prosecutor Kim.

Sooyoung still doesn't get it.

"Detective Oh?"

Sehun keeps reading the file dilligently even when Sooyoung, someone who sits in front of him, calls him.

"Oh sunbaenim!"

"What?" He looks up and seems to be disturbed a lot. "What is your plan about this?"

"You said that the Jedi were the one who hid the baby. Who's the jedi, you think, in this story?"

Sooyoung sighs, "the butler, I guess? But this is too coincidental. I mean, you can't relate everything to that Padme Amidala condition."

He smirks and gives the file to her, "it's not even some luck anymore. Look at that." He points to one certificate and Sooyoung frowns, and then gasps, and then stares to Sehun like he has just found the revolutionary invention. "How? How do you know???"

"Guts. I just thought there was a connection, and turns out my guts are right. Now will you come with me?"

"To interrogate the butler?" Sehun shakes his head and takes his car keys, "no. It's to see the mafia."

"Lee Ryungkook, age 78 years old," Jongdae reads loudly about the old man's identification. The butler is still calm and collected, while the two detectives are surrounding him like they are ready to eat him.

"That is me, young man."

"Good, now you're talking," Jongdae continues. He closes the report and leans closer, "now tell us, where is the baby?"

The old man frowns, "I don't know what you are talking about, detective."

"You know what, partner?" says Minho, "there's one thing that I like and hate about being a cop. And that is being lied to. I am pissed but excited to uncover it too. You know, it's like this passive-agressive conversation?"

"I feel you, brother," Jongdae replies, "and an old man should never lie. It is not a good example for us, youngsters, and especially for your newborn great-grandson."

"I don't know what you are--"

"He just keeps saying those words! He's surely a good butler, isn't he?"

"You might be able to fool your boss but not us." Minho continues, "you see, we found the birth certificate about Yoon Rina just as we could identify her. We never really connected it until it was revealed that your daughter is, in fact, Yoon Rina's mother. Your bio which is in Lady Chichi's files and evidences, shows it. And you began to work for her just a week after Yoon Rina had been sold to Lady Chichi. Now tell me, you might feel embarassed and guilty when your granddaughter was being sold, so you impersonated a butler and worked for her patron. You kept an eye on her, or may be you began to make Lady Chichi and his son cared about Yoon Rina more than they should be. However, you couldn't protect her from the mafia, so you took the baby with you and might be trying to make amends."

"But," Jongdae follow suit, "that baby isn't yours or anyone in your circle. It belongs to Yoon Rina, and sadly, Jung Minki. Now tell us where the baby is--"
