Case Four: May My Revenge Reaches You (Part 2)

They all are surrounding the troubled phone.

"So," Captain Kwon speaks, "are you saying the killer somehow threatens you all and gives you Greek gods's names?"

"Yes, yes he does," Jongdae, who got hurt earlier and is tended by Seulgi, is answering, "but why did he try to kill me first?"

"The special task force will come here soon," Minho informs, "turns out they take threatening toward police officer rather seriously." Sehun stares to BoA, asking her to pull some strings. Honestly, he doesn't want this case to be taken care by other than them.

BoA sighs. "I'll see what I can do, Detective Oh. But if something worse is happened, they will take this matter for real; I am sure of it."

"Thank you, Captain." BoA waves and goes to her office, possibly to call the higher people up there. Sehun then takes the whiteboard marker to make the diagram.

"I am Hades," he speaks while writes too, "Detective Park is Persephone. Detective Kim is Apollo, Detective Choi is Hermes, Medical Examiner Kang is Aphrodite, and CSI Team Supervisor Do is Eros."

"What I know is that you and Detective Park is a marriage couple," Jongdae speaks and Sooyoung rolls her eyes; Sehun doesn't do much reaction, though. "I think we have to think why he called us with such titles. There are lots of gods in Greek mythology, but he chose to give these names to us."

"You are obviously Hades, no doubt on that," Seulgi says, "you are screaming death in every single place in my life, Sehunnie."

Sehun sighs, "that can be acceptable. I have been working in homicide division longest than you guys, too."

"Sooyoung here definitely is called Persephone because she is your partner."

"Marriage partner." Minho says, "does he hint he ships you guys or what?"

"I think it is just because I am his partner. Hades and Persephone are rulers of underworld," Sooyoung replies, "they are side by side working as king and queen of underworld; it might be referring to what I have done with Detective Oh."

Sehun still frowns and then he sighs again, "I summoned you to here. Hades summoned, or perhaps more well-known that he kidnapped, Persephone in order to become his partner."

"Excuse me?" Sooyoung asks in confusion. Sehun turns to her, "I actually asked our captain to give me new, fresh, and out-of-the-box police officer as my partner. I thought I finally needed one after years working alone. She said she would find that someone, and then you came. That's practically able to be called that I summoned you to be here. Hades summoned Persephone to be in the underworld. I summoned you to get here and be by my side. That can be called as same thing, can't it?"

Everyone stare and think and they nod. Sooyoung herself just heard about it. She thought Captain Kwon suddenly thought she needed another detective when it turned out that Sehun himself asked a new partner, even though she was still being chosen by the captain herself.

"So that could be a deeper explanation. For others, though, what is the explanation?"

"Apollo is the handsomest, the most charming, and attractive god. Detective Kim--"

"I am a playboy, and I talk fluently toward reporters which needs some charms, yes, I know it," Jongdae answers, "so that's why he gave me that name? Because I am most popular, outgoing, most charming, and most flirty one?"

"Could be."

"Then I am called Hermes because I always send messages to you all; to you, to morgue, to CSI, and to the families."
