Seungwan stares to the newly-made murder board that stands in front of her. The precinct is not that crowded, much because many of them are either having holidays or attending the party.

The ill-fated party.

"So, these are what you have gotten?" asks her when Joohyun comes into the scene and plasters some other information. She does what she does until it is finished and then she answers, "not that much. Senior Superintendent Shim isn't someone you should consider your enemy. He's pretty much straight up clean police officer, but he rarely searches any enemies. Unless, well, some who are jealous of his career progress or those whom he captured."

"I have gotten his files," Seungwan takes a very big folder case that was lying on Sooyoung's desk before, "they are many criminals he had captured. However, none of them proved to have mis-convicted. All of them pretty much are really criminals. His big breaks, though, are counted as five cases. First case is a series of robbery at Dobong-gu. Second case is a big catch on narcotic dealer involving low-rank government officials; this case is the one who made him captain. Third case is assault with hit-and-run involving high school students as the victims at Gangdong-gu, and this case elevated his name as prominent captain. The fourth case happened with a big gap timeline with the third, and it was happened when he just became superintendent: murder of Han Jinggo, Director of Funding of GH Corp., that was staged as suicide. Captain Kwon was his subordinate at that time and she did big time into solving this case, thus her appointment as captain in this precinct is most likely the result after solving this case. And the fifth happened eight months ago: a big shipment of marijuana from overseas into our country. It really brought his name into the light."

"He really did solve everything, from robbery to murder." Seungwan nods. "I have put the list of people of interest based on these cases but none of them has access to the party as all of them are criminals. But for precaution, I have sent their pictures to the detectives. They might have sneaked into the party without everyone knows."

"We can't really prevent everyone from leaving the party, either."

"Yeah."

"I haven't found any particular person who has been jealous because of his work or someone that is seemingly corrupted that what Senior Superintendent Shim did had somehow crossed his or her path, but I am working on everyone who is near him's background. Perhaps we can link something." Seungwan nods and Joohyun excuses herself to deal with the IT thing.

Not long after that, Kyungsoo's subordinate, a guy named Oh Doyoung, comes. "I have done some examinations. These are the results."

He plasters some of the information into the murder board. "Our examination on the murder scene shows that the victim was both shot and stabbed. According to the medical examiner present there earlier, the stabbing happened on accidental event. We have examined the piece of glass and there are two fingerprints. One of them belongs to the janitor and we have thought that the second one belongs to the gardener whom the janitor claimed uses that piece together with him. The shooting, however, is nowhere near accident. The victim was shot by 9mm bullet, and we found the same bullet embedded on the cement floor nearby the victim's body. The bullet is not a match with the victim's gun, so we might need to assume there was another gun and it belonged to the culprit."

"Which is hard to find because according to those detectives, everyone carries their own guns. We can't just swap every guns that they have seen." Doyoung nods, "and on his clothes, we found some dog's hair. We are still running on the DNA, but perhaps you can search whether he or anyone close to him have dog as pets." Seungwan nods and after that, Seulgi comes. "I have finished my examination on him. But you might need to also have our detectives on hold. They need to hear it immediately."
