“So that means we’re 31?” Cara asked still couldn’t believe what exactly had happened.

“32 this year.” Kendall crossed her arms. “Why? Forgot our birthdays as well?!” She frowned.

“No, I remember our birthdays. I think…. Me in August and you’re in November right?”

Kendall nodded but the frown on her face hadn’t disappeared, it was getting deeper instead.

“Okay you know what, let’s go to the hospital, you need a check up. You’re acting like you’re having an amnesia, and before you’re doing 'I’m a doctor myself' speech, let me tell you something; you’re suck at healing yourself! Every time you’re sick, there’s always something happen the next day. Come on Cara dress up, let’s go! I’ll tell my assistant to push my morning meetings to the afternoon.” Kendall began to open a gadget, which Cara wasn’t familiar of.

When Cara still didn’t move, Kendall rolled her eyes. “Cara, go! Now!” the brunette demanded with that authority tone that always drove Cara crazy.

She’s still so bossy. So hot….. Cara couldn’t help but think.

Wait!

“I’m a doctor?!” Cara said incredulously, almost shouted. “You mean I made it?! Oh my God….”

I can’t believe my dreams came true… I’m living my dream job and married with the love of my life! Oh my God! I don’t want to wake up now! Cara’s mind went all over the place at that point.

Kendall frowned even deeper. “Cara, you’re starting to scare me….” she said quietly. Cara could see that her wife was getting worried of her.

Cara looked at her, and the only thing she could think at that point was how ridiculously gorgeous and stunning, the woman in front of her. She stared in awe at this mature version of Kendall, wow…. I’m one lucky motherfucker….. She thought.

“Cara? Do you need me to call your dad? Maybe he knows what happened to you, because I don’t know what’s going on with you, and it’s freaking me out!” Kendall was getting worried and frustrated at the same time as her frown was getting deeper and deeper.

“Mommy I’m ready,” a little girl’s voice interrupted them.

Kendall turned her head, facing her daughter, “Umm… can you wait in the car, sweety? Mr. Benson is already waiting. I’ll be there in a minute,” she said in a soft tone, a contradiction from how she felt.

“Kay mommy,” Ella said before she approached the two of them and hugged Cara on her leg. “Bye mum, I love you. Get better soon,” she said as she wrapped her small arms around Cara’s left leg.

“Uhhh…” Cara took a glance at Kendall who gave her a piercing brown glare, as in she would hurt Cara badly if the blonde didn’t reply her daughter’s affection.

Cara bent down and gave a kiss on the little girl’s head. “Love you too. I’ll see you soon,” she said sweetly.

Ella grinned happily before she let go her hold and then ran outside to go meet whoever this Mr. Benson, Kendall had mentioned.

Oh my God she’s super cute! I could squeeze her! But, who is this Benson person?  Cara wondered.

“Who’s Mr. Benson?” Cara couldn’t help but ask, wondering if Ella would be safe with this Benson person or not.

Kendall sighed-heavily, she pinched the bridge of her nose between her fingers, trying to control her sudden headache. “Just… you know what, I don’t have time to wait for you to change your clothes. Just wear a coat and let’s go!” she said.
